Swing Time has three parts, the Driving range, the batting cages, and the Putt putt course. I believe the batting cages are the only ones in Findlay. I've never used them but they seem to be pretty popular in spring. The Putt putt course is very nice. It's challenging without being too hard for the little ones. Now for the driving range. I use the driving range most frequently by far. There are a few reasons why this range is superior to Shady Grove. The number one reason I come here is the price. It's $5 for 2 tokens and $10 for four. Two tokens will fill a large basket easy. What I normally do is come in on Monday, buy four tokens for $10 and use two while I'm there and come back on Wednesday and use the other two. The second biggest reason is that the range faces east. Shady faces west and in the spring and fall you can't see your ball at all as you are hitting directly into the sun after about 5:30 PM. I can't tell you how nice it is to not have to fight the sun those times of the year. Another big plus is that there is a bucket of water and a brush just behind the grass tees to clean your clubs after you've hit. They regularly move their ropes for the grass tees to keep them nice as well. Now I don't know why they do this but for the last two years the green mats in the "indoor" section have been stacked up in a corner and they will not let you hit off them, stating that they are closed. I also don't know how accurate the yardages are, it kind of depends on where you are on the tees. This range also has some interesting props, including a bell, a brightly painted car tipped up at a 45 degree angle, and an orange cone on top of a hill. Also I'm pretty sure this place is cash only. I'm not 100% sure but I've only ever paid in cash and have never seen anybody pay with a card, but then again I don't watch how everybody pays. Overall Swing Time is a great place for everyone! The Putt put course is very kid friendly and is also inviting if you're looking for a cheap date activity. The driving range and batting cages are also great for working on your game or just to blow off some steam. There are only a few minor drawbacks but nothing that would discourage me from recommending it.

The trees created a dense canopy which made walking even on a very hot day mostly enjoyable. The views of the lake weren't breathtaking but they were nice...peaceful. There is a place for fishing. You can walk on the boardwalk from the first parking lot or drive a little farther down to the new parking lot and start your hike from there. They have clean restrooms, a nice shaded picnic area, a small deck by the lake to sit and enjoy. It is my favorite place in Findlay to take a hike.

I discovered this hidden gem and was excited to be able to do the pumpkin patches again with my kids. They have a large and small pumpkin patch that both my kids loved doing, fun, commentated wagon ride, smore making down by the river, great deal on pumpkins from the patch, putt putt, food truck, goats, and tons more activities. I also added the round trip kayaking which topped it off. The family was very involved and engaged with the visitors and super sweet. You can tell they truly enjoy sharing their farm with the community and seeing the happiness on faces. Now that I know about this place and all they offer, more trips are in store and can't wait to see what they add next year.

The river lends itself to those who want to take it easy or to those who want to do a quick trip down it. The scenery is beautiful; we have even seen an eagle on two of our trips!! And the sounds of nature are all around. I love that the company drives you up river and puts you in so that you never have to row against the current. And for those who wonder, the kayaks are ocean kayaks, which means it is hard to flip them....even if you try!!!

You can really tell the new owners are making improvements. The clubhouse has been completely…read moreremodeled, the old pro shop has been repurposed to a banquet area. The bar area is completely re-done and looks great. The course is under constant improvement. Many of the dead trees have been removed , and other trees have been trimmed back. The greens are still a little rough, but they are improving after a few years of neglect. Overall a good old course that is seeing a second life. Do yourself a favor. Book a Tee time. And enjoy.

The equipment to help you see your ball on the greens was really neat and the detail on each hole was very cool-I've never seen sand traps on a mini golf course before!
