Ed Litwin worked with me for years to overcome a variety of hurdles to take me from initially what was only a visitor B-2 Visa then on to an R-1 Visa and finally a Green Card. He was gracious and warm and understanding each time we met for consultation. When it came time to meet with immigration officials he and his associate personally accompanied me to the interview with INS. When INS bungled my application and initially denied me a green card he reassured me he would take care of it. True to his word about 2 weeks later I had a green card! It was an absolutely terrific experience working with Litwin and Smith. I had initially got to know Donald through an old employer who was filing for my visa. After having been let go from the employer, Donald continued to answer any questions I had around finding a new employer and the timing around how long I had, to find a new employer given the new rules that were being updated quite frequently. After having found a new employer, the employers were a bit jittery about the whole immigration visa process. Litwin and Smith had to work with my current employer and explain about the immigration process to my employers when they had contacted Litwin and Smith about my employment after having been laid off and the steps that had to be taken and calming their nerves about the whole process which led to me being currently working and employed with the current company.
