Pancake filled the plate. Eggs were cooked well -- neither overcooked or undercooked. the sausage patties were much larger than I expected. The hshbrowns were good too--crunchy on top and soft underneath. Kroger brand OJ poured from the galloon jug. Good service--i was called both sweetie and sugar! I saw the cook patting out a burger so those must be fresh not frozen. Bagged chips instead of french fries. I'd come back for a quick bite when I'm in town again. read more

Had a quick lunch with my wife she had the loaded blt with cucumber salad and I had the cheese burger and fries. Food was really good perfectly cooked. Service was very friendly and waitress kept an eye on us pretty frequently. The whole restaurant was very comfy. Only concern besides them closing at 2pm was I ordered my burger with no tomato and it came with a tomato on it. No biggie but still. Looking forward to next trip to try more food. Shout out to Littlefield's Cafe-NLR. Was on this side of town today and wanted a quick lunch. They used that word literally!! Food came out in 10 mins . Liked the local vibe and seeing everyone camping out enjoying themselves. Tess took their burger out! Fastest I've seen her eat. Tess gave . Burgers were great. Big slice of tomato, big pickles, fresh ingredients throughout. It pretty much felt like a burger out of grandma's kitchen. I have a feeling their breakfast is solid too! read more

Good comfort food that's prepared after ordered to ensure quality and freshness. Very attentive staff and servers, never waiting for drinks to be refilled. Very homey feel to restaurant, personal touches - not corporate. Even when busy, not a very long wait as they turn the tables fast when one customer leaves to seat another. read more

Previous visit breakfast food was cooked all wrong didn't eat 2 bites of it and server never asked why. Today I had a hair under my over cooked eggs. They are known for cinnamon rolls but never have them. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. When I checked out the cashier asked if everything was ok and I said no there was hair in my food she got an attitude and said we weren't charged for my plate and I said that's nice since I didn't eat it. Nice little place and the waitress was great. I ordered the 10 inch short stack tasted good but the could have used a bigger plate instead of the pancake hanging off the plate. The bacon was double cut which was good but it was too overcooked. The coffee was burnt has that taste you can't get rid of for hours. The menu price that I see on the yelp page are all out of date. So don't expect this to be a cheap breakfast at $12.50 You should update the menu so we know what we are paying for and also the check I got had no price on it at all it just said bacon,short and coffee with no total or price on it. read more

This is one of my favorite places to eat. Nice sized portions. Breakfast is great, burgers are big, and tasty. Service is good. The place feels like an old cafe from the 70s that my family owned. Hours are odd, it if you catch them open it's worth the stop. read more

I went in on June 22 for breakfast. The service was fair. Food was good not outstanding. What got me was my meal was higher than normal. I asked why. I was informed that the price went up in the system. What didn't happen is the fact that the menus didn't change nor did anybody bothered to tell anyone the price had changed. read more

Perfect little mom and pop style breakfast spot where the coffee is hot and served in a real ceramic glass and the plates are loaded with traditional breakfast foods. Wanted to try a local place for brunch. We arrived 10:30 and there was no sign as to whether we seat ourselves or wait. There were three groups standing there wondering when someone finally came and told us to sit wherever we wanted. Our server came right away and took our drink order and brought them right over and got the rest of our order. Hubby had eggs, bacon, hash browns and a pancake. I ordered the French toast and a side of bacon. It didn't take long and we got our pancake and French toast. My French toast was good except they did not give us butter...it was some kind of "spread" Hubby's pancake was burnt on the bottom so a bit dry but the flavor was good. The rest of our meal didn't arrive until we were done with our cake/toast...we had to stop our server and let her know we didn't have it yet. My bacon came out nice and hot but one piece was burnt and another quite undercooked-I had to tear off the fatty portion. Hubby's eggs were cooked well but not very hot, bacon was varied like man and hash browns were a bit greasy and warm at best. We kind of felt like afterthoughts after our order was taken. We love a good brunch place but was a bit disappointed. Looks like a favorite for quite a few locals. read more

Great cafe in NLR with daily specials. Sometimes you have to get here early as the specials are so popular they run out. Such was the case today with chicken and dressing. Everyone was ordering it. Yep! Yes! You betcha! In town visiting my son and wanted to find a local place to enjoy breakfast. I am so happy for Yelp helping me find Littlefield's Cafe!!! We all ordered breakfast food even though it was closer to lunch time and it did not disappoint. The prices are beyond fair, the portions are large (pancakes are laugh out loud huge), and the service was friendly and swift. I am an egg snob and very few places cook a perfect over medium egg, but got them here. The hash browns were so perfectly done my daughter looked at me and we both said how delicious they were at the same time - JINX! The sausage was fantastically spicy! The star of the show for me were the biscuits & REAL sausage gravy (see drool worthy picture)! The pancakes are massive and fluffy! The French toast half-order could feed two! Portions are small for the price they charge. Then they have that surcharge if you use your debit card. This is their business and that's a cost of running of a business and they shouldn't be trying to gouge folks. Food was overpriced and like I said the portions were very small. Rolls were flat and cold. Now I will say that the breakfast food I seen going out looked good and the portions were plenty. Nothing here that I would come back a second time for. read more

Fantastic little hole in the wall diner. If you want a great breakfast at a reasonable price, Littlefield's is it! Omelets are great, pancakes are amazing and humongous! Friendly staff only drawback is there is usually a wait on the weekends, it I guess that's a testament to the great food and service. After coming here with my uncle I can say that I was pleasantly pleased. The food was filling and reasonably priced (also, quite good). On a side note the pancakes are massive, for real - I challenge you to eat three of these. Anyhow, the only real thing against this place is the amount of time it takes to get your food. We shoulda trusted our gut and turned around when we got a weird vibe outside. We came here because of the high reviews but woof. We spend 2 hours here, waited an hour to get our food and it wasn't anything speculator. It was okay busy but they had four people working so why did it take over an hour to get 3 hash browns, 3 sausage, 2 bacon & 2 eggs? It wasn't overly clean and the staff wasn't really kind. The one saving grace was our waitress who was really sweet and I felt for her having to manage so many tables. I'd avoid this place like the plague next time. read more

Good value for the amount of food! I got the "Big Man" I think its called Comes with 3 eggs, 3 bacon OR sausage, hashbrowns and biscuits and gravy OR Pancakes. My gf got a large stack (3) Pancakes The hashbrowns were delicious. Very well seasoned and not just shredded potatoes and oil. Pancakes were nice and fluffy, not rubbery or old. Eggs were ordered sunny but they weren't fried nice and crispy like other diners but they were still good. Biscuits with the gravy weren't crisp (I know they're smothered in gravy so they're not gonna be golden and crispy like that) but they didn't taste fresh out the oven/home made. They were okay. The service was great! The young black girl was our waitress and she was soooo nice. She seems like a very hard working and has great customer service skills. This is the third time I have been to this restaurant. The pancakes were huge and tasted great. The other items were okay. The staff was friendly. Overall good diner food. The only problem is with getting all your food. Each time we have been, either part of the order was missing or we saw the people behind us receive their food first, and had to ask for ours again. This has happened to friends who went there as well. There must be a problem with communication between the servers and the kitchen. Each time, it appeared the food had to be ordered again and there has never been an acknowledgement of our extra wait time from the manager on duty. Perhaps they are unaware of this issue. Overall, I would probably seek out another place for breakfast, unless you just don't want to drive any farther. read more

Stopped here with my wife I a whim. Nice local diner close to home so we figured we'd give it a try. The waitresses & staff were all very friendly. I ordered a big boy platter &my wife had the Littlefield special. Food was prompt & very good. They even substituted reg bacon for turkey bacon for my wife. Biscuits & gravy are money!
