Ordered a seaweed salad and was given a good size potion garnished with tomato wedges. Didn't take long to come out. Yum. My Philadelphia roll was given to someone else, and I waited a further 20 (!) minutes to get another. It was good, nothing remarkable. The salmon sashimi took so long to come out I got up and went inside to let the waitress know I had only 10 minutes before I had to go. Got it with 5min to spare and had to scarf it. Not cool. I spent a lot of time just sitting there as people who came in well after me are their meals :( The food was good, hence the 3 stars, so I will try it again and adjust the review if needed.

I was even charged for every thing with no apologies Bonus: the waiter we had speaks English Please note that this restaurant is super small. Service is very slow when busy. Interesting selection of sushi and not much choice for sashimi. We ordered a variety of rolls as well as some nigiri. We ordered the Vietnamese spring rolls. Sadly they were not the rice paper rolls we were expecting. And there were two, very small rolls. They were tasty though. We got our nigiri first. 4 salmon, 2 tuna and 2 octopus. Large pieces of rice with decent sized fish cuts. We also had a salmon roll and eel roll (not pictured) Not sure i would come back .

The pho portion was huge with a heaping amount of noodles. The duck was a little on the chewy/fatty side... might be a preference thing - we just enjoy them on the crispier side. The staff was great and they even provided an English menu. Great spot for a quick bite or to people watch!

My…read morelocal friend in Stuttgart suggested it, as it got good reviews - very possibly from people unfamiliar with Vietnamese cuisine. The waitress explained to us that when they first opened, they did offer authentic Vietnamese dishes, but the locals weren't interested, and the business got so bad that it faced closure. Since they have edited their recipes to meet the local taste, they are doing roaring trade now. Unfortunately for me, it was just about the worst meal I had during my multi-nation trip this summer - Switzerland, Germany and Ireland ... seriously, these three countries aren't on top of the list in the culinary hall of fame, but they all did much better than this Vietnamese representation! Their pho came with dark brown sweet potato noodles, instead of the usual white rice noodles. I suspect that it may be hard for them to get authentic ingredients, as all of my vegetarian choices featured the same things - mostly just Tofu, even seitan, which doesn't belong to Vietnamese food. I was super stuffed (and bored) with soybean protein that night. Their outdoor seating is pretty, but during the heatwave, not having indoor AC was also a down side.
