Both my sister and I left repeated voicemails and emails for the head of nursing, the facility, Director, and the social workers, barely any responses When we did manage to get someone on the phone we were met with rudeness and hostility. My stepfather began vomiting and having diarrhea on a Wednesday. He was weak, and we could tell something was seriously wrong. Unfortunately, we have autoimmune disorder so we could not go in in person. It took until Friday to get a clear update, and even then, we had to push hard just to speak to someone. I told the head of nursing who was struggling to breathe, she argued with me saying His labs and his chest x-ray looked good and insisted he was stable. I asked if they had done a Covid and/or flu test. She dismiss the idea entirely. Only after I demanded testing did they run one, and guess what? Positive for Covid even then they resisted transferring him to the hospital until we threatened legal action. He was finally moved, and once there, we learned he had a collapsed lung and was admitted directly into the ICU. The head of nursing casually told me she doesn't return calls because she has approximately 157 patients and they're short staffed. That's just unprofessional, not to mention dangerous I would never send another loved one here. What was once a decent facility is now a place I wouldn't trust with anyone's care. Absolutely heartbreaking and unacceptable .

The therapists treat my children like they are their own and they get excited when they make progress. My girls have been going for a few months and, while they can't completely talk yet, they have made so much improvement that it makes me want to cry. The therapists are very knowledgeable in what they do and they have years of experience handling their kids. The waiting area is comfortable and has toys and books for the kids. The receptionist, Kate, is extremely nice and very friendly. At the end of each session, the therapists make sure (time permitted) that they discuss how the session went. I can tell these women are dedicated and love their work because of how the kids are improving. Overall, I couldn't ask for a better place for my kids to improve and grow.

We walked into the donation area, where I sat in a donation chair, and the donation routine began to take my blood. After about 8-10 minutes, I was finished and got up and left the facility. The technician was friendly and was very good at inserting the donation needle into my arm. There was some informal conversation, and it was a very nice experience. I have been here many times before, and I will return when I can donate again. I've been donating blood since 1969 and feel I am giving life to people who need this to survive. When it comes to billing and insurance authorizations, unless you are willing to call daily and communicate with your insurance yourself, they will take WEEKS for authorization requests to be sent. This happened every time my child's evaluation was due. Which we never had this issue before kids spot bought out our old office. After getting a phone call the day before my child's appointment saying her speech therapist "just quit", which I doubt because we had been seeing her for almost 4 years, we decided to finally leave. They're a big corporate company and it definitely shows.

Ms. Jennifer, one of their OT therapists, uses toys, fun games, physical activity, dancing, music and writing to work on what my child needs. She is very thorough with parents, giving you a breakdown of what they worked on during the session. She usually leaves you with some sort of "homework" to complete before the next session. When we were seeking a tutor for one our children, she had a great recommendation for someone that would mesh with my child's needs. We started speech therapy here when the school district could not work with our daycare/work schedule to provide speech services. Ms. Lindsay has been very personable and made a great connection to my child. She breaks speech sounds down in a way that my preschooler (and me) understands. Just like Ms. Jennifer, she communicates what they worked on after each session. She also provides games to play during the week to reinforce skills. My family, and kids, have absolutely loved all the therapists we've worked with at Family First. If you are seeking speech or OT services, give them a try.

The owner on the other hand who was stepping in did not even have a clue how to deal with him. Of course because he's non-verbal at all of his other issues he was confused. So he started the only thing he knows to do because he can't talk and that was pulling on her needless to say that upset her. Truthfully I believe she is in the wrong profession. Again both my boys go there and they had great therapist not-so-great the owner. At one point I highly recommended this place now I would say don't take your child there especially if they're not a typical child SMH. They don't mind collecting the insurance money but yet this lady was unprepared to deal with a child of his disabilities yes. She did not have a clue what was wrong with him she must not have taken the time to even look at his file. So I naturally pulled my other grandson out of there this is not a place that I would recommend for anybody unless you have a child that can speak and just needs a little help but I definitely would not recommend her to be your therapist.
