Little Sicily Pizzeria. Just hearing the name conjures up images in your head of quaint little family-owned pizzerias in small Sicilian villages with little Italian men arguing with each other like the ones on the Bertoli adverts.
In reality though, this little takeaway shop in Maghull looks like anything but a traditional family run Italian pizzeria. The shop itself is small in size and pretty plain-looking, with the layout inside fairly basic as well.
Thankfully, image doesn't mean everything with Little Sicily as despite the plain and basic shop layout, their food is made to a very high standard. They offer a range of different pizza sizes as well as many delicious and interesting toppings, ensuring that anyone's tastes can be met here. Their pizzas can be a little bit more expensive than your bog-standard takeaway, but you can taste the difference.
I prefer Perfect Pizza down the road if I'm honest, but Little Sicily is still a great place to go for pizza if you fancy it. read more
