There is also no volume as my roots were not permed and my hair is aggressively straight, so it looks a little sad and flat on top then bam, curls. I also wasnt given any care instructions for my perm whatsoever, so it's a good thing I'd done my research and knew not to wash my hair or do any styling for the first couple days. I'd definitely give this place another shot, because my hair does look decent, but I'll have to make sure I'm extra clear on what exactly I want. I also need to brush up on my Chinese as I didn't learn hair styling related Chinese in school, so my hairstylist and I could not communicate effectively.
