I ordered the Chicken Philly with mushrooms, peppers and onions with a side of fries. I am visiting a cousin for a couple of days and was looking for a local place to eat lunch. I ordered online and picked up and added on a slice of the pistachio and cream cake. The Philly was delicious, the fries were hot and crispy, and the cake was out of this world! I love supporting small businesses, especially when I'm traveling, and this place was definitely five stars for food and service!!! read more

I came in for a takeout order: cheesesteak with onions, provolone, and mushrooms. Now I've had some good cheesesteaks in this area and some crappy ones, but this one did it well. Good quality bread, maybe not the best, it wasn't exactly an Amoroso roll, but it certainly was not some generic sub roll. Good ratio of meat to cheese to onions, that's always important. The girl behind the counter wasn't very engaging, didn't smile or anything. So that's a bit of a knock. I would go back if I'm in the area, but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way just to go here again. And I heard there was President Trump decor that isn't here anymore, I would strongly encourage the new owners to bring that back. read more

Let me first say I am not a huge fan of Cheesesteaks. I know, I know, but most of the ones I have tried in my life just haven't been that great. I have had cheesesteaks with slimy nacho cheese on them and cheesesteaks with burned, sorry, over grilled-bell peppers, so it's just not my go to sandwich. I do, however, like cannolis so I had my husband stop here when he wanted lunch the other day so I could try the mini cannoli's. I wasn't that hungry and just wanted a sweet treat, but he was ready for lunch so it worked out perfectly. We ordered on door dash when we finished our afternoon walk and headed over. It said food would be ready in 15-20 min and we were only about 5 minutes away so we waited outside in the car for a bit. They never marked the food as done, so when we came in to get it, it had been sitting which I don't appreciate. However... the food was delicious. It was the best Philly Cheesesteaks I have ever had and my husband (who is a cheesesteak lover) said it was top 3 for him which is a big deal. The mushrooms and onions were plentiful and delicious and the cheese was spot on. The bread was super soft and seemed very fresh. We also got onion rings instead of fries and they were crispy but not too oily with a nice flavor. The mini cannolis were actually the thing I liked least lol. I mean, they were ok but the sandwich was the star. My poor husband! I ate half his lunch after telling him I wasn't hungry. I guess men get used to that though. We will be back for sure. read more

NEW OWNERSHIP AS OF January 2022 OPEN EVERYDAY 11-8 except, Sunday. They update their Facebook often. We have been meaning to stop in since the new ownership in January. We had an opportunity to stop in this evening 2/23/22. The moment we walked in we felt so comfortable. The updated the decor, which was a major improvement, was wonderful! They put in ship lap on the lower half of the wall and painted it a beautiful blue with a nice bright white throughout the upper half of the wall and the business. The hostess stand is beautiful! It is crisp and clean! We ordered the homemade tzatziki with pita to start. The pita was fried, next time I'll order it but ask for the pita to not be dried. It was all delicious! I ordered the cheesesteak with American cheese and grilled onions. It was great. Actually better than the one I had with the previous owners. The meat was cooked perfect and the grilled onions were the right cut. The bread is softer than what I would normally prefer for a cheesesteak but, that is just preference. My husband order the Gyro. He was impressed and happy with his meal. My daughter loved her kids cheeseburger. My son enjoyed the kids chicken tenders. There was three of them, his belly could have used 1-2 more. But, that is preference as well. In all the food was great. My husband half way through his meal said he would return. We wrapped everything up with mini cannolis. They were tasty as well. In the end everything was delicious and flavorful. Our waitress and other staff were great. They were attentive and we never had a moment where we were searching for someone to help us. Their fries are the bomb, crisp, not soggy and flavorful! I had the foot long shrimp with cheese and mushrooms, addicting!!! A must try!!!!

With food in mouth, I was asked to leave. The reason given - he was closing, - even though it was 45 minutes early and I'd just gotten my food. I swear to God with and 20 seconds of me being out the door key lock the front door, shut off the lights and he was gone! My food was hot. I had taken one bite. How did they clean that quickly? The employee was cordial, but that's really the only positive thing I have to say about this place. As I walked in wearing my mask, I could just TELL everyone was looking at me - it was like one of those movie scenes where the place gets quiet and heads turn; of course I was the only one wearing a mask. I sat down and ordered, then looked up and saw the TRUMP PENCE signs as well as one that said TRUMP WON. I don't care who you vote for, but if politics is such a big part of your identity that you have to bring it into your business, then I'm out. Cheesesteak meat didn't seem to be of very high quality. Had a really bad experience with the new Little Philly. We had three sandwiches in our order , all came out different then we ordered. The server seemed to blame us. They wanted $3.99 for a juicebox and when you order water they bring a bottle and charge $1.25. When we explained the orders weren't right the server had an attitude and just sorta walked away. The steaks aren't stuffed with meat and cheese , cheeseteak subs from the past little philly. Much smaller portions, but not much smaller prices. The fried mushrooms were barely edible. Other patrons seemed to like the Gyros perhaps they should just drop the cheesesteaks and go that route. The service could be just growing pains, the upsell on bottled water and massively reduced steak portions are reduced value. read more

We tried the re-opened, new owners Little Philly. We ate in, very clean, but miss the President Trump decor. The lady who waited on us was so nice, and very attentive. Our food was so delicious, that we are having it again, just two days later! The fried mushrooms were huge (our server forewarned us they are very hot!) and coating was just right. We tried the fried pita chips and Tzatziki sauce, which was very good. Daughter's Chicken, bacon, grilled cheese was sooooo good! My Cheeseburger was fresh Angus beef with overflowing lettuce, tomato, and pickles, again a delicious burger! Cheesesteak was also a big hit with my husband. This place sucks!! Called in a to go order for a cheesesteak and had Avery clear and specific conversation with the lady on the phone that I wanted EXTRA lettuce because in the past it's been very sparse. I got ZERO lettuce and when I called back to complain she's said she put it in the order electronically. The counter is LITERALLY 5 feet from the kitchen. We finally made it to Little Phillie's last night and I am so glad we did! The food was amazing, portions were huge and their fries and Mozzarella sticks are cooked to perfection! Our service was awesome from the moment we stepped in the door. Teresa and her staff were super accommodating and she even gave my little one an extra pack of fruit snacks when she was upset to help calm her down (but asked me if it was okay first :)).. a super sweet gesture. I was so busy scarfing down my food that I didn't think to stop to take pictures. I had the regular beef steak in a small and it was still big enough to bring half home for lunch today. This place was great probably one of the best Philly cheesesteak I've had in a while. They don't skimp you on the meat, and they have a variety of hoagies in Philly cheesesteaks to choose from. I think this is s nice dinner or lunch spot. Seems like a mom and pop type of place but really couldn't tell. Apparently they serve breakfast to. I'll try it one day. One of my favorite places for lunch. The subs are delicious and filling. They do not skimp on the meat! Love their chili cheese fries and their ranch is good too. There is an older waitress who works there who is just a doll! On wednesdays she bakes and gives each customer a dessert free and they are always great! All staff that works there is friendly, she just happens to be my favorite. The place is rather small and during lunch rush it can be hit or miss on getting a table but they do to-go orders as well. read more

Great Philly Cheesesteaks can be found here. I lived two years in South Jersey and ate my fair share of Philly Cheesesteaks. And I've been to Dalessandro's Steaks in Philadelphia as recent as 2018. I have to say the Cheesesteaks at this shop, Little Philly Cheesesteaks are just as good as Delessandro's. I ordered the large with sweet peppers and onions only and I was not disappointed. The large is enough for two meals. Great job done here. And the service is top notch. I will definitely be coming back. read more

So one night this past weekend when I had a craving for a good sandwich, I decided to take the drive to Poquoson and check it out, so glad I did! Been here a few times. Subs are just ok, nothing spectacular. Word of warning, if you are not a native Poquoson person, dont expect to feel welcome here. As others have commented, they cater to a certain clientele and if you dont fit the description expect cold shoulder service. Not gonna spend my money here. read more

Our office ordered lunch from here today and all four of us were disappointed. The only thing this did really well was the horseradish dipping sauce for the onion rings. My Chicken Philly sub roll was stale and there was NOTHING on my sandwich no onions no green peppers just dried up chicken. Will spare you of the details but we were all equally disappointed. Asked for an itemized receipt and the girl looked at me like I was crazy. After going to another co-worker and whispering she then gave me the ticket she wrote our call in order on, not my idea of a itemized receipt. Wonder what the secret was about?
