Finally stopped and so should you- the tamales are wonderful, large and cheap. If the stand is open, we stop. Neither my partner or I are timid eaters but one of these babies makes a perfectly nice lunch. Our choices today were two pork and a couple of chicken mole. That's lunch for two days for 12 bucks. So, if you are in the neighborhood you should check it out. Big step up from more commercial offerings- very fresh and have that from the kitchen directly to your plate.

Their menu is limited focusing on the tamales, but they have a couple of other items on it as well Super friendly and helpful in explaining what types of tamales they have which can be ordered individually or by the half/full dozen (get a dozen, you'll thank me later!). We got a dozen mix of the chicken with mole, pork with green sauce and the jalapeño/cheese. The freshly hot tamales are thoughtfully separated and labeled by type and they offer small to-go tubs of green and red hot sauces as well. The tamales are amazingly delicious and full of flavor, we loved every one of them! A little bit of the hot sauces go a long way but add a nice kick! A cautionary note that these tamales are on the hot (spicy) side so you might be wary if you don't tolerate spicier foods. Cash only and limited hours, see pictures for hours or call ahead. All in all one of our best tamale experiences!

We've been here a few times now and I definitely agree! They operate in the evenings starting at around 7pm and go until late night. I highly recommend their Asada tacos and Tripa tacos. They chop and fry the tripe until crispy and add seasoning to give it that extra oomph. Each order of tacos comes with the fixings, like lime, radish, onions, cilantro, and salsas. There's a long table at the stand with a few seats so I recommend eating these right away, fresh off the grill. For $3-4 tacos, you can't beat this quality and freshness!

Each time, I would bring more friends. They have more flavorful tacos than the ones I've tried in Aloha area. The tripe or tripas is the best, then my second favorite is the asada. They grill them until crispy and served on top of double tortillas with grilled jalapenos, onion, and raw radish and lime. They open at about 7 pm and there is always people already waiting for them. The service is quick. There are some seats but not many, so be prepared to have it to go or eat in your car (best eaten fresh out of the grill). They play nice music. It's a very casual stand overall. Everyone that I took here said they loved the tacos.

This is probably my favorite jianbing I've tried so far. I appreciate how many different types of fillings they have. They have a couple vegetarian options which is great! I ordered the fried tofu classic series, which was the first time I've ever had a fried tofu inside a jianbing. The outer layer was more crepe than egg, in comparison to other jianbing I've tried before. But I didn't mind it (and actually enjoyed!). The sauce inside is so flavorful and delicious! The classic was a perfect portion for me, but they also have signature and loaded options if you're really hungry. They also welcome personalizations, as they were willing to accomodate my request of no cilantro and zhacai (Chinese pickled mustard plant stem). The mild spice was perfect and really not spicy at all - I would probably try medium next time. While food trucks can be hit or miss sometimes, this one did not disappoint. The wait for the food was a little long, but it was worth the wait because the food was delicious. The prices are also decent for a food truck. I highly recommend trying this!

The parking is under the building and make sure you park by the stairwell closest to the trolley. We had a hard time finding the way to get to the place. When we entered it was bright, pleasant and pretty warm inside, and smelled delicious. You wait in line to order and then grab a table. When we visited there was only 1 outside table. Each table has 3 sauces you can add to your crepe to enhance the flavor. I ordered the Farmer's Garden Delight Crepe and added bacon crumbles. I also opted to have both mushrooms and potatoes (menu says it's 1.25 for both and I was charged $3.25) in the crepe which was really good. There are 3 batter types you can choose from- traditional, buckwheat or gluten free. I tried traditional and my friend tried buckwheat and we both preferred traditional. We enjoyed our food and the staff members were nice. It did take about 20 minutes to get our food. Our crepes were really delicious. The downsides are the location- hard to get to, parking is funky, and limited outside seating. It was already loud with the street traffic and then a train came by which was very loud. Overall I would suggest checking out this place.

Happy Valley Food Carts yeah, I might be a little biased... I live here. And to the three of you…read moretrying to triangulate my exact location based on this review relax, it's not that serious. Let's get into it. Right off I-205 and just a short cruise up into Happy Valley, this spot feels like the food cart scene finally put on a clean shirt and got its life together. It's modern, it's polished, and it sits in a neighborhood where you don't feel like you need to keep your head on a swivel. No chaos, no nonsense just good eats and a relaxed vibe. What makes this place stand out? Options. A ridiculous amount of them. This isn't a "hope everyone agrees on tacos" situation. This is a "you get what you want, I get what I want, and we all win" kind of place. I've officially made it my mission few days left to try as many carts as humanly possible. Call it a food tour, call it a personal challenge, call it reckless ambition... I'm doing it anyway. We kicked things off at K-Pop Korean Hawaiian BBQ-because when you roll with a buddy from Hawaii, that's basically law. And let me tell you, it delivers. Bold flavors, solid portions, and that perfect fusion vibe that just works. Honestly, it set the bar high and that's saying something, because every cart here seems to bring their A-game. The setup is dialed in too. Covered seating for those rainy Oregon days, indoor space when winter decides to show up with attitude, and open-air areas when you want to sip a little wine or knock back a cold brew like a civilized adult. Surrounded by trees and mountain views, it almost tricks you into thinking you planned something outdoorsy... when really, you just came to eat. And here's the kicker it's clean. Like, noticeably clean. The carts look new, the area is well kept, and the whole place feels intentional. Not slapped together. Not gritty. This is food carting with standards. If you're local, you already know. If you're passing through, put this at the top of your list. And if you're doing a full-on food truck tour? Start here. Set the tone right. Because trust me after this, when you head back downtown and start dodging zombies and chaos... you'll miss this place real quick.

Dog friendly, Kid friendly, 100-year old friendly. Lots of clean and tidy indoor and outdoor cafeteria-style seating to choose from. Carts are covered from the rain, but outside. Beer and Espresso served and paid for inside. Restrooms are accessible and inside. Carts will give you a buzzer to notify you when the order is ready, so you can go walk around or find a seat while you wait. It was very busy this particular day, but no problem, all the carts seemed to be prepared for that! Just a lot of friendly faces who understood we needed to drool over all the menus before arriving somewhere. We landed on Premier Japanese Hibachi and loved all the flavor. Some of the freshest shrimp and yakisoba I have ever had. We also had the grilled shrimp and steak. TIP: don't forget to ask how you want your steak because it is made to order! The sauces on the side were perfect for dipping and sharing. Unfortunately, the portions did feel small for $18 a plate. Also, how to order water with your meal was confusing- another worker said just go inside. Eventually I saw signs that water is free with purchase or $1, but you would think it would be obvious. Overall, Premier Japanese Hibachi and everything else was a hit, 10/10, TY!
