If you are into nostalgic collectibles, then you'll absolutely love it -- it's nostalgia galore. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted with the question: "Who remembers?" -- and that really sets the tone for the whole experience. Everywhere you look there's something that takes you back in time. The owners are awesome and very friendly, which makes the visit even better. I'm also especially grateful for the 10% discount they give my son when he does a great job at school -- such a thoughtful and encouraging gesture for kids. The store itself is neat, organized, and packed with things to explore. There's so much to look at that you could spend a long time just walking around remembering old favorites. The prices vary across different ranges, so there's something affordable for everyone. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

The service was very good, very busy inside but the staff knew their selection quite well and even offered some suggestions of places that may carry what I was looking for. The prices are reasonable as well. I can't speak on the things besides gundam, but the gundam were priced nearly the same as online retailers after shipping. What a lifesaver for my family and me. I love how they also separate their toys into sections, such as "science" and "crafts" which helps me select gifts for who I am buying for. They also do a free giftwrap service which is so handy. If all neighborhoods could be so lucky as to have a gem of a toy store such as this one, we would all be in a better place. Please, do try this place out. Make the effort to shop here, shop locally, get your gifts wrapped, and then walk next door to the Post Office and grab a flat-rate box and ship it off to a friend instead of using Amazon! Or save a box from your own shipments and re-ship your purchases from this store to your friends and family outside of Boston. I'm certainly not against Amazon, but if I have a wonderful option in my own town, I always make every effort to find what I can at the local store, ALWAYS! I encourage others to do so too! Stores like these who have braved COVID, and braved the tough competition out there deserve our attention and business! Visit Boing! and maybe even make it a tradition with grandkids!

I said Yes and he then gave me their quick spiel. From other reviews it looks like 20% off isn't new and has been a thing for a very long time. I didn't find, in general, their prices to be too bad. A few books maybe but they're smack in the middle of the city in a high tent area and their selection of pretty much everything is great, do slightly higher prices are understandable. Highly suggest a visit for current books, back issues, slabs, and I think lots of gaming stuff as well (I didn't pay attention to their non-comic stuff). It was actually fun for me.

(The prices were a little high to begin with so the sale made them more regular). The display comic books had cool identifiers like the first appearance of Hawkeye, for example. They were valued higher because of these specifics. Even those were 20% off today. My husband's only critique was that some of the long boxes were packed too tight such that he would've had to pull out multiple comic books just to be able to search through the box. He says he would've bought more if there were about 15 fewer issues per long box. Come check it out!
