You can't beat that kind of bargain. Also loved their house red wine as the perfect pairing with the hearty Italian fare. Is this the most authentic place in town? We've been in Italy for two weeks and Flash was by far the most disappointing meal…read more Background. We were looking for a quick, inexpensive lunch near our AirBNB so we could eat, grab our bags and jump on the Metro to the train station. We should have eaten at the station. The service was slow and diffident. The waitress seemed irritated to be working at all. We ordered a fresh salad and pasta with what was supposed to be branzino and tomato sauce. The food was mediocre. The fish was dubious. The service was worse. So much for the concept of a neighborhood restaurant providing good food to office workers.

It was a busy Sunday afternoon so the line took a while. When you get your food, you get a buzzer to know when to pick it up. Theres a lot of seating but it can be hard to find a table when it's busy. This place seems like a fast food place. It was a little bit more expensive than some other food you could possibly get in the area. The lasagna was 8€ and the pizza was 7.50€ for a large. (Reference: we went to anotherr pizza the night before and a whole was 16€) The serving sizes are huge and can be a lot so it might be good to start off small or share. Between the red lasagna and pesto lasagna, the red one was better. Overall, the lasagna was not as appetizing as expected. I don't think we would get it again. The pizza, on the other hand, was delicious. It was huge and fluffy and cheesy! They cut it in squares for you so it's easy to eat.

The restaurant is not very big and it was full to the last seat. Luckily I didn't had to wait long. For lunch they have a different menu with first dish, second dish and desert. That is normal in Italy. Every Joyce has 3-4 dishes to choose from. The stuff is very friendly and speaks english so I tried with my Italien-english to order. Everything worked fine for me, i had risotto and vitello tonato. Both was very nice and tastefull. For lunch you pay only 10€ and an espresso and a water is included. A very good price. They have a big variety of desert and fresh fish. Next time I have to come for dinner, I guess it will be a good experience. Or again for lunch. I can really recommend this restaurant!

This place is amazingly delicious…read more First, this is truly some of the best pizza in Italy - not just in Milan. This is a true Neapolitan pizzeria and their Neapolitan pizzas are done right and authentically. They have all the classic choices including the marinara. We tried this place twice and both times were delicious - once we did take away and the other time we ate in. I'll talk about the eat in experience. We went on a Saturday around 1:30 pm. Some tables filled, but about half empty, so easy to get a seat. The waitress was strong-willed, but actually a very nice person. We ordered one margherita and one marinara, both with no oil and lightly done. She said no problem. We also ordered a cappuccino, which she thought was really odd. She said they don't have cappuccino at lunch time - either in the morning or in the late afternoon after lunch, but she made us one anyway. She was clearly amused with our foreign behavior, but not in a bad way. Our margherita and marinara pizzas both came out perfectly. The crust was spot on, the tomato sauce was one of the best flavors of sauce I've had, and on the margherita, the mozzarella blended perfectly into the dough and sauce. The marinara came with chunks of garlic and she gave us oregano and red pepper flakes on the side. We ate every last piece including all of the crust. Not burned at all, so soft, doughy, fluffy, and flavorful. Loved the pizza. The restaurant itself has both indoor and outdoor seating and has a clean, light feel. It is quaint, but nice. The guy who makes the pizza is really friendly and great, too. We talked both days - once when I did take away and I also chatted with him when we dined in as he was making our pizzas. The oven is right next to the door when you first walk in by the cash register. Our server was even nice enough to help us try to call a cab to the airport. She waited with us on the street. I will absolutely go back to this place again next time I'm in Milan and I highly recommend you give it a try.

Also, they have that bs rule according to which they won't allow you to pay with cards if you don't spend at least 10€. And for the record that's their rule, so you don't have to do that, it's just them telling you to do that. Service: I enter the place and stand there for a few minutes without anyone of them caring about a new customer stepping into their door. They were walking in front of me and pretending like they didn't see me. So after a while I approach the owner at the counter and he goes "yes?". I ask for a table. He walks in the dining room without saying a word, so I guess I have to follow. Tables were all filthy. They left them that way. They cleaned a part of the table and sat me there. Then the owner comes and literally THROWS the menu on my table while walking somewhere else! I mean what the heck, ho can you be so rude to your own customers? I finally order and the result of their cooking, without surprise, is comparable to the attention they put in looking after their customers: average, disappointing. I got a pizza, which was average at best. This is Milano, there is some of the best pizza in the world, places like this don't have hope to survive. Concluding, place has no identity, the menu is massive, they don't have something they are good at, they are inattentive and the dining room looks really dated and dark. Definitely not coming back here again. Waste of my time.

They even have a sign that infoms you when their English speaking staff is working that day (in case you happen to need it,as I did). It is very close to the metro, the bus, and a short walk from many hotels in the area, leaving you no excuses not to eat here. Now after all this about pizza one might think this is all they do, and one would be wrong. The menu is full, from pastas to steak to desserts, leaving no stone unturned. The atmosphere was friendly yet nice, the kind of place that you can dress up or down for. Bring a date, bring a friend, bring your appetite.
