Charter 33771 indicates "Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., the Eta Alpha Omega Chapter (Rock Hill, SC), installed a library in Roosevelt Park (Clover, SC). The library is part of the organization's "1908 Playground Project", which ensures that children have safe and inviting places to play. It's a wide enough street with a parking lane so you can stop easily but there is significant traffic here. Keep an eye out. The library is a light gray color with proper shingles. Standing on a single post with a single door, there is just the one shelf. However, the library is deep so there are two layers of books. It was quite full with a great variety of choices today. Self improvement, fiction, non-fiction, biography and much more. This is charter number 21004 and the steward has their name and email address on the LFL listing. On a Sunday morning, the playground was full of kids and parents running about and playing. The library is brown with brown trim on a single stand. It looks amazingly sturdy. Inside, two shelves full of mostly children's books which is appropriate considering the location. This is charter number 182992. It is listed on the Little Free Library site but there is no caption or steward's name. I also did not see anything on the library other than the usual plaque. The box has three shelves which makes enough room for the really tall books, paperbacks and a low shelf for "other stuff. Today, mostly fiction books and a cookbook. "Teeth are Not for Biting" is valuable advice for everyone. Very cute that they have directions and distances signs on the base pointing to Oz, 100 Akerwood, Cheshire, Narnia and other imagination places.
