This library is located in the parking lot of the railroad museum adjacent to the bright red caboose, making it hard to miss. There is easy parking.
The library is painted in a different color on each side and has a single door with a twist catch. Inside, a single shelf of books. Mostly children's books but a few others. The Lindbergh book was interesting, but I'm not ready for a tome of that depth at this time.
This is charter number 87635 and the steward is "Newton Depot." The online caption reads, "Southeastern Narrow Gauge & Shortline Museum, Scotty's Book Barn, & Partnership for Children have collaborated to bring this LFL to North Newton. We can build great communities when we all work together. Look for us next to the red Caboose, facing North Main Ave."
