Kept trying to come here on Sunday- they're closed, but it kept being the only day I would have a…read morechance to go. FINALLY had a Saturday off, and I'm so sad I wasn't able to make it out here before now. I also brought a bag of books to sell. The processing for the books I brought took about 30 minutes (it was an IKEA bag FULL, I just needed to transfer to one of their bins). That gave me time to look around and see what they might have. Not all of my books were accepted, which was fine, because the reason this place is so big and yet does such good business is that the books are well currated to ensure that they are desirable. Older books, or less desirable are kept down to one copy, whereas more popular books may have three or four of the same book, but the book is popular enough that it will be sold. Value wise, the rare, signed, and first editions area is VERY reasonably priced. Value for books brought in is given as either cash (I was given a lesser amount this way) or store credit I walked out with a few of the sequels of book series I have the first and maybe second of, but this way I could complete the series for less. I also found a few books on my TBR that were available. Books are indeed at used book prices, not hugely marked up, so overall I considered the visit a huge win. Overall, I guess my complaint is only that this is the only location, and I wish there was a sister store more toward central or even the west side of Orlando.

Brightlight Books in is one if my favorite used bookstores in the area. The team is always so kind…read moreand helpful and the selection of books, games and movies is diverse and they even have decent selection of newer titles. The prices are also very reasonable and I feel like I receive a fair credit for books I bring to them for resale. I highly recommend supporting this business!

You're gonna think I'm weird! Wait a minute, if you read my reviews, you already know that!…read more These wonderful folks deserve all the attention we can give them! One of my awesome Yelp friends, and perhaps the most active Yelper on this site, Bruce K., has reviewed tons of these little boxes and his efforts inspired me. From their website- Our Mission & Vision "Little Free Library is a nonprofit organization based in St. Paul, Minnesota. Our mission is to be a catalyst for building community, inspiring readers, and expanding book access for all through a global network of volunteer-led Little Free Library book-exchange boxes. Our vision is a Little Free Library in every community and a book for every reader. We believe all people are empowered when the opportunity to discover a personally relevant book to read is not limited by time, space, or privilege." It doesn't get more awesome than that! They have a great website and an app to help you find a box. Arriving- This box is on the Northbound side of US Route 27 and is beside a boat landing parking lot, a picnic area, and a Mexican restaurant. They are a snap to find and park. The Box- This one is nothing fancy and is Charter #16803 in their system. It is very well mounted as it should be to withstand Florida's hurricane season! It was packed with books of all types. There were thrillers, romance novels, young adults, paperbacks and hard covers and even children's books. It was so packed that I had trouble adding a couple of books that I donated myself. There was truly something for everyone and they're free! How to Help- Check their website. Find the closest box and donate. There's lots more you could do if you really get into it! Be sure to download their app that has lots of cool features. Conclusion- This is one of those organizations that needs 10 stars! Enough said! This box itself is in great shape and overstuffed with books so 5 stars!

Strolling into this bookstore and I knew I found a hidden gem for fellow book lovers like myself…read more From the moment I walked in, I felt at home. The owner was incredibly friendly and genuinely knowledgably about the book world. She took time to educate me and other fellow guests about the history of the store, which you can learn more from the newspaper clippings in the back of the store. She also talked to me about the Little Free Libraries, how they work, how to find all the registered ones online, and even encouraged me by saying I could host one myself. That conversation along made the visit feel special as you can see how passionate she is. The store has a wide selection of books, thoughtfully organized, with something for every kind of reader. My absolute favorite part was the cozy corner of vintage books - such a charming collection, each one priced fairly and appropriately for its condition and uniqueness. It felt like stepping into a little time capsule. Beyond books, they also carry comics and games, which adds to the fun and makes this place great for browsing, whether you're a serious collector or just popping in to explore. If you love books, community, and supporting small businesses with heart, this place is definitely worth a visit.

I was impressed by the wide selection of books in good condition, all of which were available at affordable prices. You can find a variety of genres here, making it a perfect place to spend quality time browsing and discovering new reads. The staff member working that day was knowledgeable about the books, knew exactly where everything was located, and was eager to provide recommendations and help find specific titles.
