Strolling into this bookstore and I knew I found a hidden gem for fellow book lovers like myself…read more From the moment I walked in, I felt at home. The owner was incredibly friendly and genuinely knowledgably about the book world. She took time to educate me and other fellow guests about the history of the store, which you can learn more from the newspaper clippings in the back of the store. She also talked to me about the Little Free Libraries, how they work, how to find all the registered ones online, and even encouraged me by saying I could host one myself. That conversation along made the visit feel special as you can see how passionate she is. The store has a wide selection of books, thoughtfully organized, with something for every kind of reader. My absolute favorite part was the cozy corner of vintage books - such a charming collection, each one priced fairly and appropriately for its condition and uniqueness. It felt like stepping into a little time capsule. Beyond books, they also carry comics and games, which adds to the fun and makes this place great for browsing, whether you're a serious collector or just popping in to explore. If you love books, community, and supporting small businesses with heart, this place is definitely worth a visit.

I was impressed by the wide selection of books in good condition, all of which were available at affordable prices. You can find a variety of genres here, making it a perfect place to spend quality time browsing and discovering new reads. The staff member working that day was knowledgeable about the books, knew exactly where everything was located, and was eager to provide recommendations and help find specific titles.

I took my grand kids to this library because it is convenient to the south Tampa area. There is…read moreample parking and it is in a secure area. I thought the security was visible from the metal detection at the entrance to the sheriff officer by the desk. Once inside, the children area is located just to the right. It was very clean and an employee was consistently reshelving books that the kids took off the shelf to look at. There are two computers in the children's area to explore learning activities. The seating/furniture was okay but not super kid friendly. I would have liked to see some bean bag chairs or a carpeted area for a casual relaxed reading. It was not crowded at all just after the lunch hour and it was a good time for all of us.

After waiting years for the renovations at Charles J. Fendig public library to finish I am so…read moredisappointed with the finished results. The children's area is almost nonexistent and the lack of parking is still an issue. This location is the most convenient to my house, but I would rather drive further to the Jan Platt library because there is plenty of parking, a larger selection of books, and there is an incredible children's section that is walled off so you don't have to worry about young children disturbing the peace at the library. This is one of the smallest libraries in Tampa so chances are that they won't carry the book(s) that you're looking for.

Absolutely loved my time here at the studio. The ladies were so sweet and pleasant. The ambience…read morewas very calm and relaxing. The hardest part is not only choosing the piece you want to paint but being able to only pick out 6 colors. Lol. All the colors are so pretty but the 6 was just enough. This is such a great place for all and any occasion. Group dates, solo dates, you name it. I truly enjoyed my time and will post the final look of my mug when I pick it up.

First want to say the gals working on Sunday 2/1 were amazing, they were a delight. My major…read morecomplaint was cost. This was our first visit and we went with friends and was not told how expensive this activity would be and we didn't know until after we got there. Now I know to be prepared to pay $35-$70 per person depending on what item you choose at this business. My daughter and I selected one of the smallest pottery options (small turtle jewelry dish, small scooter planter) because they were already $29 per piece and on top was an $8 studio fee per person. We couldn't afford anything bigger. It turned into $74 after tax for two people to paint two small pieces. Our friends had been there in the past (they live not far from this location) and noticed the prices definitely went up and shocked how expensive it was. I don't know how the mom with three kids afforded this art activity out who were with us at the same time. Have not seen our finished product yet, hoping all will be okay when our pieces are ready for pickup. But the price structure they have in place was just awful. I've been to many paint your own pottery studios in the area and this business is easily double the price. I won't be a returning customer.
