This library is located near the playground of the Paducah Rotary Playground. It's hard to miss, painted in a robin's egg blue with gray trim. It is on a single post and has a single door. Inside, a handful of books were quite dry from the rain. Some paperbacks and a stack of magazines. A softcover copy of "Marley & Me" nearly made the journey with me but I've seen the movie and don't need that sort of feelings when I haven't seen my own dogs in three weeks. This is charter number 77923 and the online caption reads, "When Patrick McHaney began planning his Eagle Scout project, he had a special person in mind - his grandmother who passed away in 2006. McHaney says, "My grandmother, Marion Fillmer, was a librarian in Marshfield, Missouri. She had a love for reading and how books can change, encourage, and open up the world to readers.
