The library is painted a brilliant white with a black shingle roof. The single door is secured by a simple twist catch. Inside, two shelves that are well overstuffed with books. A deep offering of books mostly on their sides which does make it a little challenging to see what's here. I did spot a hardcover thriller and a bunch of children's books. Its placement feels intentional, offering just enough space for a quick stop while still fitting naturally into the rhythm of the neighborhood. The wooden box is mounted on a single post and has a single door with a large plexiglass panel secured by a magnet. Inside, two shelves hold a neatly arranged mix of books. There are hardcovers and paperbacks, children's titles, young adult novels, and general fiction, all in gently used condition. It is a small but thoughtful selection that invites a bit of lingering. It was rather confusing to navigate, and while they did have a person in a booth, as well as some…read moresignage, I found the signs kind of too little too late (or maybe I went the wrong way??). The person was blocked by a vehicle that may have been for the county, or may have just been a person dropping off. They were there the whole time. Anyway, when you pull in, go directly to your right if you want to recycle something. There are different stations based on the material. The bins in the middle are for cardboard and such, all labeled so you can tell. The electronics were on the right side in a covered area. TV monitors and accessories are separate stops FYI. The exit was confusing... I drove toward the exit signs and they seemed to be leading to where the trash trucks were going?? I turned around and went back the way I came. You may never need to come here, but if you're disposing of a TV/computer monitor, this is the place to go, as it is illegal to throw out with curbside trash. This facility also seems to have compost/mulch services. They do a lot here, so it really is a good thing for the community. Just felt like I was wandering through a maze.
