But when he attended first grade through sixth grade, he had the same education as private school kids. The Amherst schools are excellent. I can only attest to grades one through six but my son is a radiologist and an assistant professor at Stanford. In addition, he has earned a PhD from Oxford, England in bio medical engineering. He is a Fullbright scholar. And I would say that the Angerst school system compares to any other schools in New Hampshire probably New England, public or private.

The school goes to great lengths to keep everyone safe, and they are doing a great job. I think possibly because of the reduced class sizes, or new lesson structures, our daughter is doing better than ever. She is coming home telling us all kinds of stories and making lots of connections to what she learned that day. She loves going to school everyday and usually cries when we pick her up, because she doesn't want to leave. The staff are friendly and good at their jobs, from the directors to teachers. I love getting pictures and updates throughout the day through the tadpole app. I don't know what we'd do if she couldn't go back to daycare, we are very grateful that Goddard is open and working as hard as they can to keep everyone healthy and safe in these crazy times.

I am thoroughly satisfied with her infant care, and am even more excited for her to progress through the childcare program. The layout of the building allows me a glimpse into the other early childhood classrooms, and I am constantly amazed by the variety of activities and teaching methods that I see on a daily basis. I also love that the program is part of 2nd Nature Academy. While we certainly don't want to rush our daughter's early childhood experience, we look forward to her continued education for many years to come.

I was a nervous new mother so I thought I was being critical of the lack of warmth from caregivers and staff. Aside from Carol who greets you upon entry there was no comfort in leaving your child there. I questioned myself thinking I was protective and went along with it. Over time it didn't change. I came one day to pick my child up early to find a substitute teaching acting extremely inappropriate with the children scolding them In a way that felt like she was losing control. Other staff members appeared embarrassed when I witnessed it. When speaking with the director I was reassured she wouldn't work with the younger kids anymore because " it overwhelmed her " I quickly learn from that point on it wasn't the right place for my child. I think they paint a pretty picture of what they offer but within the walls of the preschool is quite different. Their expectations are extremely high for toddlers and pre k and sadly lack the nurturing piece. I found the staff to be young with a lot of turnover. I found the director Jillian to be young, naive and lacking real life experience to be in her role. Be careful of the pretty picture it presents. I am so sad that I didn't go with my gut on day one... a new mother novice decision. Luckily my child has no memory and I have found a place that is nurturing with experienced staff.

Found out on a Friday morning that I had no water coming from the well at my home. I called around…read moreand came across Skillings & Sons. I was able to set up service same day. The guys were prompt and efficient in diagnosing my issues with my well. Thank you, Kyle and Caleb, for doing so. My issues turns out that I wasn't getting the proper voltage from my house to the pump. Kyle and Caleb suggestion was to have the well pump rewired from the house to the pump. It was completely needed. Day 2: I had the electrician out and did an outstanding job getting this completed in a timely fashion however, it turns out that with the proper voltage supplied to the pump the pump was old and fried out. Day 3: Called Skillings & Sons again to come out and replace the pump. I had scheduled a 2:00 PM appointment as it was the soonest available. Great to find out the morning of Skillings & Sons Technician's finished a job earlier than expected so I got a call that they can arrive earlier to replace my pump. Technician's Kyle and Jason came in to replace the pump. Extremely professional kind and courteous were the technicians on both trips to my house. They completed the job in 3.5 to 4 hours and i was given specific instructions on how to get my water back to normal. All I can say is that I would Highly recommend Skillings & Sons. Honest, Professional, Efficient quality company. Thank You again Kyle, Jason, and Caleb.

Service crew arrived around noon, and diagnosed a bad pressure switch and deteriorating pressure tank. Replaced the tank, and were done by 1:30. Friendly, informative, did nice work. We were more than happy.
