I brought one of them yesterday and she had so much fun and wanted to come again. It's obviously meant for all kids but as a heads up, I think it's best for neurotypical kids aged 1-5. Beyond five and I can see them getting bored quickly unless they come to play with a friend or siblings. Lots of gross motor activities as well as an arts and crafts room for fine motor skills and a game room too if your kid likes that kind of stuff. They have a zip line and a trampoline and a climbing wall too. I talked to the 3 year old I babysit that there are kids here who play differently from her. I told her they calm and soothe differently from her and sometimes they have a harder time waiting. We talked in the car about letting other kids have a turn first and we can come back to a toy if a friend is having a hard time sharing. She very much understood and didn't hesitate in the new environment. She hasn't per se been exposed to neurodivergent friends so I thought she did amazing - kind & offering preferred items first to others. Anyway, a great way to spend a cold or rainy day. Staff was amazing too. Thank you!!

The ambiance was beautiful, the indoor playground was beautiful, and the food was fresh. The lady who took my order got a little frustrated because she was having trouble understanding me, and she had a bit of an attitude about it. Now, normally I'll get smart right back with you, but I let it slide. Another young lady stepped in to help -- she understood me perfectly, was polite, and extremely nice. To her credit, the first lady did apologize at the end and said sorry she couldn't understand me. I respect that. Everything else was amazing. They've even got a sweet shop upstairs for ice cream, but we ran over on time and it closed at 6. So we left and took the grandkids to Honey Hut instead before heading home. We had a great time. Rain didn't stop this grandma! You can call me anything you want, but you can never call me a deadbeat grandma

Now that they mandated the $10 a child it's not too packed and they can play freely . The play gym is so cute with sensory and imaginary play. It's kept clean as well as the tables and food area. It's big enough for the littles to have fun but small enough to where the parents can still have a good view of them without having to enter and follow them around . The Slavic /American cuisine is one of my Favorite parts. The dumplings are incredible and authentic. For the littles they also have all the normal American cuisine options the littles love like pizza, chicken nuggets, fries and a lot of other options. The macarons and desserts set this cafe apart because of how high quality they are. You can tell the macarons are home made. Delicious. We love coming here !

Awesome place for kids to play!…read more We took 5 kids to play for a birthday celebration and they had a great time. The staff was great getting us checked in. They give you a bin to put your shoes in to keep the floors from being cluttered. Lots of tables and chairs for the adults to watch. They have a gate so the kids can't leave without an adult. The kids loved all the different themed play areas from giant building blocks, slides, soccer area, climbing areas. Even adults are welcome to join in the fun. They even have a small Toto's area for kids in diapers. I enjoyed that the staff let the kids play but we're still attentive in making sure rules were being followed.

Or stay and play with your child. Many fun areas. Ball pit, jump house, trampolines, climbing areas, dress up items, play kitchen, many riding toys. Also a smaller fenced in area for 3 year olds and younger. Lots of variety. It was a weekday afternoon when we went. Not super crowded. All in all a fun place for kids to run and play. The negative is, I would never suggest leaving your kids alone there. The supervision is lacking to nonexistent. I couldn't tell if it was just the cashier there alone, or if someone was helping her. She spent the entire time talking to another woman. Not one person was even watching the kids. No one ever walked around. The cashier's small son was there. And he was an uncontrolled kid. Running around, very wild. So while it is a fun place. I would say to never leave your kids there alone.

Even if you are the last one there, you are bound to get a great spot! As soon as we get there my kids go straight to the food, which is ample and a perfect selection for an outdoor gathering. Let's see, they had ribs, hamburgers, vegan-friendly veggie burgers, potato salad, baked beans, brownies, watermelon and the list goes on! I am always impressed with their soda selection! Diet cream soda does it for me every time! They have a nice, manned lake with paddle boats and canoes. There are a few different playgrounds, most of which, are in the shade. They recently added larger-than-life wooden rockers! There is a little area where kids can redeem tickets for prizes. The soft-served ice cream (vegan, by the way!) and cold novelties are always a hit! They provide hayrides which offer great history of the park and family that owns it. You'll see softball fields and many photo opportunities in the gazebo, pavilion and around the lake. The restrooms are very clean! So, go visit this wonderful, scenic, family-owned gem! I bet you won't be disappointed! You can bring your own entertainment: clowns, magicians, face painters, etc. This would be a perfect place for a wedding and family reunions!

The staircase is beautiful and every inch of the place is covered in wallpaper, even the ceiling in some rooms. Although quaint, it really bothered me that there wasn't more literature available on-site that explained what all the historic items on display were about. Was the harmonica a former possession of Old Man Nicholson? Seriously, there was a harmonica on display with a little white label next to it reading "harmonica." No duh it is a harmonica, but what is so important about it? It also really bothered me that there was a doll on display with her hair parted for pigtails and only one pigtail was secured with a ribbon. The other pigtail was just lose; she looked like a homeless lady off her meds. I spent a long time staring at that doll thinking of all the reasons the person who arranged the display left her like that: 1)It was arranged by a man. 2)Someone found the doll with only one original hair ribbon and realized it was missing a ribbon but did not buy matching ribbon from Jo-Ann's because she wrongly wanted to keep the doll "authentic." 3)The person had absolutely no clue what she was doing and she has no eye for design what so ever. Perhaps she is an accountant or banker. Either way, this person never spent a lazy summer afternoon braiding her sister's hair poolside, that's for damn sure.

Kurentovanje is a Mardi Gras type festival, celebrating the end of winter and the beginning of spring. There's no denying that the CLE can be a bleak place in February, so the tradition of "scaring away" winter to usher in spring is a perfect fit for Slovenians and Clevelanders alike. I've had an excellent time attending this festival the past few years. Once the parade concludes, everyone packs into the National Home to enjoy pivo (beer), pierogi, Slovenian sausage, krofi (donuts), and more while dancing to live polka music. If you're visiting, make sure to stop into the Slovenian Museum & Archives next door. The National Home hosts events all throughout the year. I can't wait to try out their fish fry this Lent!

My four year old loved the parade. It was not too crowded outside because it was still quite cold on this early March day. But he got a lot of attention and some candy, and we had a lot of laughs when one of the Kurents snuck up behind him. Very organized parade route and very easy to get a good spot. Inside was another story- the venue was packed! We sifted our way through the crowd to get a hot dog for my son and then some treats to take home with us. I would have loved to have stayed a little longer and visited some of the outside vendors, but the natives (i.e. my child) were getting restless. I can't wait to do this again next year!
