Scheduled a 4:30 with Vanessa for my grandson as she has cut his hair for the last two years after an unfortunate haircut fiasco with the other stylist. Rearranged my work schedule and got there at 4:25. Dropped my sister off with my grandson and then went to park. When I got in there the other stylist was cutting his hair. I was upset and Vanessa said, it's ok she's a good stylist. No it's not ok. His hair is uneven, she was not as gentle with him as Vanessa is and I'm not happy. When you book with a particular stylist, you expect that stylist to do the appointment. Especially since if I wanted just anyone, I could have come in earlier in the day. I don't usually leave reviews unless the service is really good or very disappointing. This was very disappointing. Luckily there is a month before school starts and his hair grows fast. I certainly don't want him to start kindergarten with a bad cut. Now I need to find another salon that caters to young children with a great stylist. read more

Love this place! Started coming here due to a good friend's recommendation. My son got his very first haircut here. Segue to a couple days ago when he's on his third or fourth. Sometimes there's a wait due to their care and time they take with each child, but I feel good things are worth the wait and it is SO worth it! Their lobby waiting area has a small tablet at the front for quick sign in and then to your right will be a nice size play area for the kiddos. They get to pick out a chair which are cars, airplanes, etc. This last time we went my son was excited to go and then as it drew closer to his nap time he was a bit apprehensive but our stylist worked with us and got him a sucker and he quickly sat down in his chosen airplane. Haircut was okay... reason for 2stars. Service however, I would give it 0 stars. Lady was rude and didn't have the patience for my daughter. Instead of asking if I could help her hold my daughter's head (to trim bangs), she said she needed my daughter to sit still. There's way to talk to people and ways to ask for help! Took my son for his first haircut. I chose this place because of their experience with kids and I wasn't sure how my son was going to react. I was pleased with the cut. They get them in and then they get them out. It wasn't till I got home then I saw how uneven it was. But not so bad that anyone would notice. It's worth it anyway if you have a wiggly kid. If you're extremely picky, and want everything perfect. You might not get that kind of cut here. the Cut my son received was adequate. I couldn't ask for more because he is only two and it's hard for him to sit long so the person who did the haircut had to work really fast. they are very good with kids. If you have a child that can sit quietly for a while, then they might spend a longer amount of time on the hair. I still would recommend. read more

Been taking my kids here for almost 2 years and have never had any issues other than long wait times. Sadly it seems like they are going downhill. My kids got haircuts on Tuesday and they are the worst I've ever seen! Shirell cut my daughters hair and first, took off way more than I asked for, and second, it's completely uneven and choppy. It looks like she tried giving her layers (I think. Also didn't ask for) but then just kinda gave up and blindly started cutting away. My daughter actually cried once we got home and her hair dried and we could both see how bad it actually looks. My son got his hair cut by someone else but I didn't even get her name. His haircut is equally just as bad, completely uneven (he's 4 and it honestly looks like he just cut his hair himself). Makes me sad that I have to find a new kids hair salon because my kids love the cool seats and play area and being able to watch tv during the cut, but I refuse to pay TWENTY bucks for such horrible haircuts. I would give 0 stars if possible. We have been twice now: first to Paloma and the second time to Shirell. Shirell- honestly how does she screw up haircuts so badly? My poor baby came home with the worst haircut. The first time was not great and we went elsewhere for a long time. Today I received a text offer for $7 off a haircut and decided to take two of my kids. My daughter's hair is okay (I did have to ask Shirell to straighten it when I noticed it was off). I am most upset about my sons hair. Shirell had made it wet and combed to the side so I didn't notice until I got home. See the pictures attached. It's so bad. It's also worth mentioning I called and was told they did not have a wait. We arrived minutes later and it was a thirty minute wait. We decided to stay and while other people walked in I didn't think anything of it. Apparently I was supposed to put our names in the computer (was never told). When the workers called on other people it was an embarrassment to have to have to argue. The whole process took 1.5 hours for two kids. read more

I've taken my 13month old here a total of 3 times now. All times have been amazing! Minus this time. I didn't catch her name but she's African American with long curly black hair....I was VERY upset with our experience today.... We started out in the star wars plane seat and within minutes I had to sit with him in the normal chairs because she didn't even bother to take her time with him like the others did when he was a little antsy because there was THREE other people waiting after me and she was the only person there...I was booked for 1:30 person n.2 was booked for 1:40 and person n.3 was for 2:00.... Anyways I wasn't offered a cover either to avoid hair literally in every part of my body, I was SO itchy leaving. Even worse for my baby who continually I had asked and removed hair from his face as she continued to trim when he obviously was UPSET from all the hair in his face....she finally tried to wipe his face with a ROUGH DRY RAG....ended up making his lip bleed from how dry and rough it was after "attempting" to wipe his face. I sat in my car for 10 mins after the appointment getting all the hair off his face and out of HIS MOUTH!! This was an absolute HORRIBLE experience. Though we will be coming back because the first few ladies were SO amazing but I'll never let that lady near my sons head EVER again. She didn't even say bye to us as I thanked her she walked away for her next client.... Honestly shouldn't have even paid... I asked for short sides maybe a 2 or 3 and longer on top and I got a chop job along with horrible freaking service to my 13 month old baby.... Not to mention the lineup job in the back is horrible. I posted a pic of what I asked for..a before pic...and how she let us leave. OH AND when she out baby powder on the back of his SUPER RED neck she o it so much on it made me gag I couldn't even imagine how it made my baby feel let alone breathing all that in.... read more

We made an appointment here for my little girls first haircut. The website says a little girls haircut includes a shampoo or a blow dry but we received neither. We paid $30 so she could sit on an airplane & get her hair trimmed. We were so excited to come here for her first hair cut & we were very disappointed. There is nothing special about this place. We would have been better off going to Great Clips for $8.99. Lesson learned. read more

We had a wonderful experience during our 8 month old's first haircut. The salon was super clean and the staff were very friendly. We were brought back right away. Even though our little guy cried the entire time, the staff were quick with the cut and provided options to help soothe him. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars... I really did. We booked an appointment since they're "appointment only" during Covid. It was for 12. We arrive at 11:55 and are told "we will he with you in just a minute" after confirming our 12pm appointment. A literal 28 minutes later, it was our turn. They both were cutting adult hair. Not sure why we weren't told when we came in they were running WAY behind but a heads up is always nice when you're waiting with kids. The cut looks cute but it wasn't what I asked for. However, we were already late to our next appointment since our appointment was 30 min later than booked and it took 35 min for her to cut my daughters hair so I didn't have time to ask her to fix it. She was friendly but we didn't even get an apology for having to wait a half an hour. Then, we pay and walk outside and my kid starts crying because she was so well behaved and they didn't offer her a lollipop and she saw another kid get one. At that point, I just wanted outta there so I gave her a chocolate when we got home. But come on, get it together people!! Tell people when there's a delay so they can decide for themselves if they have the time to waste or not. We did not. And being told they'd "be right with us" made me think 5 min not 28. Wasn't impressed. I've taken my kids to great clips previously but figured I'd try this out. Great clips did a better job for a better price. The haircuts were terrible. See picture for my daughters trim. Her hair was one length before. We didn't ask for layers... not even sure I would call this uneven cut layers. But the people working there really turned me off. Also... their checkout system is set up for an auto 28% tip or higher. LOL. You can put in a custom tip but pretty awkward. Wasn't too happy about a $6 tip request on top of the already high price. Maybe it was just the people working tonight? Not sure. But they weren't great with kids which I found odd. There was a sign that prices are increasing by $2 too. read more

The only reason I don't give this business 5 stars is because of their wait times even when you make an appointment. I had an appointment at 11 am on Friday. We were running a bit behind but checked in at 11:02. Understandably, she had moved on to another customer but then took another and another. We weren't called back until 11:27 but it wasn't the stylist we had made the appointment with so we had a keep waiting until Ren was available. It wasn't much longer that we had to wait but probably an additional 5 minutes. That's a long time to wait with a 18 month old. Even when we show up early to our appointments (usually 10-15 minutes early) we have yet to be taken back on time. I hope they can figure out their scheduling to minimize wait times! read more

She didn't ask me what I wanted for my son's (second) haircut and just immediately grabbed the clippers, went way too fast and cut too much. The other baby she cut before us was his first haircut and she almost basically shaved his head. Three stars because the place is really cute and fun.
