As long as I could. But at some point, I risked the mouth burn because I couldn't resist any longer. And I tasted a lasagna so well done that I could hardly believe it was real. However, there was a guy standing behind the counter with a Subway shirt- the subway counter was lit up so I asked him if they were open and pointed to Subway. As we left McDonald's, there were five people in line at Subway- guy we spoke to was helping to serving them! I caught his eye and said, "you told us you were closed." Now in front of his coworkers, he said "no, I told you would be open in 15 minutes." He certainly did not. Nothing wrong with my family's hearing. No apologies.
