The issue for us was that even though we both ordered very different items-both came so overly salty that we couldn't eat them. We did not complain, and we tipped the very nice server well...but probably won't go back. Hope it was just a one time thing-but don't want to risk wasting the $ again. Always taste the food before you put it on the customer's plates!

The food always arrives promptly but more often than not, I have to flag someone down for a refill on my drink. The guy who appears to be the owner always has a scowl on his face and most of the staff act as if they'd rather that the customer had went anywhere but there. They really seem put out by having to service their customers. I've also noticed that they have started adding a charge for take out orders. I'm really not sure why they have such an attitude but it bothers me. I go out of my way to be polite and say please and thank you. I always tip the appropriate amount or more. We have started going out of town if we want good Mexican food with decent service. Since the owners and employees of the establishment have made us feel so unwelcome, we decided to take our business elsewhere.

You can have the sandwiches served on a bun or on homemade Amish bread. The milkshakes and soda floats are good also. The fried pies are really good, you can get them with ice cream on the side. After a previous bad experience where we didn't get our food we decided to try Wing Kyng again…read more Both boneless and bone in wings were cooked well. The potatoes had great flavor but would have liked them a tad more crispy. They have a wide variety of sauce choices which is great. I wish they had better descriptions for some of them though. The Grippos dry rub and the Cajun lemon pepper were great but the dirt bowl classic just had some sort of flavor that made everyone with us dislike them...maybe cinnamon but can't put my finger on it. Overall they are worth a try if you want variety. If you want just a classic hot buffalo wing there are better options.

And don't get me started on that garlic sauce and Nanna's banana pudding was astounding. I've never had banana pudding that good before. This is a MUST try! The salad bar is actually my favorite part, well that and the bread! I know, I know-not supposed to eat much bread, but my goodness-if you are going to enjoy some, their dinner rolls are heavenly! They have different themes for the buffet and they can make you a sandwich or grill you a steak if that's your cup of tea. Be sure to try some of the taffy, and the sorghum syrup from a neighboring farm -you'll love making cookies and other stuff with it! Most of all, just take a few minutes to come and support some wonderful people doing fantastic things in the name of the Lord!

What is the big deal about the wings? They taste worse than store bought, flavor, texture, everything. We were advised to specify extra crispy, and they are still shockingly soggy. The sauces and rubs we've tried too are not creative, not tasty, and on top of a soggy wing it's not good. I tried the beef on weck last time I was there. This was alright, I appreciated the horseradish and the tenderness of the beef. I got it with a side Caesar salad, and that was just bagged flavorless BS. When we are in the market for wings, there aren't too too many options. We like to try to support local places over blatant chains, but I don't know if I can justify coming back.
