5 Stars -- Absolutely Delicious!…read more My three good-good friends/sorority sisters and I celebrated my birthday dinner at Smashing Grapes, and everything was excellent! We started with the buffalo cauliflower, crab dip, mussels, and wings--and every appetizer was a hit. For dinner, we had the lamb T-bone, crab penne pasta, ribeye, and a chicken pasta dish recommended by our waiter, Logan. We finished by sharing the blueberry bread pudding, which was the perfect ending! A special shoutout to Logan, who was AWESOME! He was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and made great recommendations. Great food, great service, and an even better birthday experience with my girls. We will definitely be back!

The parking is of course on the street or across in the mall lot here in Columbia. Not the easiest to cross when you're on wheelchair. People don't always yield or stop in this area. The establishment was clean, good vibe. Our order wasn't taken right of way although there was no one before us in line. Appeared to be training a new staff. Got the Mad dog, and my husband customized his. The crust was just as he wanted, but I felt it was too too thin for my taste. Next time, I'll need to ask for the thicker crust. It was paper thin. Overall, it satiated my husband's craving, and that was all we hoped for today.

It was our first time here, and my wife and I ordered two steak and cheese sandwiches--one on a seeded roll and the other on a baguette. We arrived about 30-40 minutes after placing our order, but the staff couldn't locate it in the system. No biggie--things happen! Per the manager, we waited another 15-20 minutes for our food, but these sandwiches were absolutely worth the wait. The sub was so creamy and cheesy, and the fries were good as well. Hands down, the best steak and cheese I've had in the DMV so far, and I've tried MANY! We will be back!

The eggplant is fried (or deep fried maybe) and has a really nice taste- the caramelized onions have a bit of spice to them and a reddish color and they go well with the Gruyère. The pizza is cut into 4 slices which are huge and floppy, that I need to fold it slightly, but it's still an enjoyable slice. The crust is really nice- usually I don't eat the whole thing but with this it's not overly thick or oily, and the ends are edible instead of being dense blocks of cardboard. The ambience inside is nice and it's best to come by for a pickup in the middle of a weekday when it's empty to get a quick order.

One of the servers also stopped by to ask if I wanted to refill my soda. Food: -Old Bay wings were TOO salty! Whoa. I didn't think the Crust We Trust pan pizza deserved the title of Award Winning. I would personally have enjoyed Pizza Hut's more. There was a book fair today so parking was limited in front of the restaurant, but there is plenty of parking in the back. The restaurant itself is open and spacious. A bit too bright as there are no blinds or covers for the windows. I suspect it can get real hot during the summertime. Overall, my impression was service was exceptional, but food was just mediocre. I am not sure that I would return based on the food.
