I ordered an oolong milk tea with honey boba and it was not good. There was no oolong flavor whatsoever, it honestly just tasted like caramel milk that was way too sweet. The boba didn't resemble boba at all, it was way too hard and had no flavor. It was on the more expensive side and there were no size options. Service was not friendly at all. It's kind of hidden and we were curious to try it. We walked in and were greeted with a massive display of chocolates of every kind. Next to the chocolate display, there were cookies and other pastries. The shop was refreshingly cool and very pleasant with wood furniture along with an old school wood bench. The place is small but if you had time, you could definitely enjoy your snack inside. The two women working there were very pleasant and friendly. We ordered a chai latte hot for me, a cold chai latte for my son and my wife ordered a caramel macchiato. To be clear, we were there for my wife. She loves coffee but it is a rare thing when she finds coffee that she likes. More often than not, we go to a promising coffee shop and it falls short. When my wife's face lit up with a smile after her first sip of her caramel macchiato, I was thrilled! There are few things prettier than my wife smiling from joy or, in this case having a great cup of coffee. Since we were in a chocolate shop, I had to order at least a piece of chocolate. The flavors were all different and quirky but it was the apple caramel that caught my fancy. It didn't disappoint!! So, if you're in the mood for coffee, chai or anything else in the way of a beverage and also love chocolate, this is the place for you!! Thanks, Coffee and Chocolate!!!

Jai Dee Thai Kitchen -- Pleasant Experience, With Some Room for Improvement…read more Jai Dee Thai Kitchen has a quaint, pleasant atmosphere, and the greeter/waitress was friendly and welcoming. We started with the Crab Rangoon, which I found to be a little tough and fairly mediocre. The Pad Thai was very tasty, although it leaned a bit sweeter than expected. I requested Thai hot, but the spice level came across more like medium. The mango fried rice was flavorful and enjoyable, but again, it wasn't as spicy as requested. For someone specifically looking for authentic Thai heat, it may be worth emphasizing that "Thai hot" really means Thai hot. Overall, there were definitely some things I enjoyed, and I would be willing to give Jai Dee another try. Next time, I'll be sure to clearly emphasize my expectations regarding the spice level.
