First issue is that I never approved sealant and the second issue is that I took the kids to another dentist afterwards to check the work and unfortunately there were only four teeth with remnant of sealant and nothing else. Sealant usually last for years if they were placed in the first place. If this is not highway robbery I don't know what is. If I tell you I was taken advantage of that would be an understatement. It's sad to see a supposedly professional office Fraudulently charged clients for work that has not been rendered. I had to get the sealant thrdone at another dentist. Also charged me for x-rays for my wife that they have never provided me copy of even though I specifically asked them for copy of all x-rays.

First of all, I asked if my insurance would cover my regular dental checkup and was told it would. I in fact discovered after the fact that this office was out of network, which led me to incur personal expenses out of pocket. As these are almost always avoidable, I found this very disappointing. Second, I was given an XRay without being warned of the possibility that I would have to pay out of pocket for it. Apparently the XRay that was provided was a special type of XRay that is only covered for me once every few years, while a normal XRay would have been covered. I'm disappointed that I was not informed about this, as it would have saved me literally hundreds of dollars. Third, I discovered that the office never filed a claim with my insurance provider, meaning I wasn't going to receive even a partial reimbursement from my insurance. It wasn't until 7 weeks later when I inquired about the status of my case that the admins at Omene filed this claim. The dental practice itself seems to be high quality but given that I've never had so many problems on the administrative side before, I felt that this was a fair score.

After watching my poor toddler treated so roughly during a cleaning, the assessment was even worse. I was told in a rather condescending, poor you tone-my only option was to baby root canal two molars & then to "bottle cap" them, along with capping his 4 front teeth- enamel on the front, silver on the back, all of which would needed to be done ASAP under GA @ CHOP, he then continued with "I have to ask, so what's going on at home?" I have never felt so terrible in my entire life, but that's for another review....After I stopped crying, I went searching for a second opinion & I am so thankful I did. I found a message board on mothering.com where they were talking about this great dentist that saved their child's teeth. To my surprise & delight, this dentist was located in King of Prussia, very close to where we were. I called and we were in to see him within days, I couldn't believe how easy it was all becoming. The staff was so courteous, she was more than happy to answer all of my questions, I didn't feel rushed at all. He took at least 10 minutes, just letting my toddler get to know him, allowing him to build some trust before the exam. It was like a breath of fresh air & I knew he was going to be able to help us. He agreed there was the beginnings of decay, but his approach was completely different. Dr. Hollander took his time with me, did not make me feel like the decay on my child's teeth was my fault, or from my lack of care. I had night nursed my toddler & I believe the result was this discoloration & decay- awful. Anyway, Dr. Hollander scraped away the discoloration that began on his front teeth, scooped our the decay from his molars, hit them with an OZONE treatment, which will stop the decay & filled the molars with a safe-non metal filling. All done, quickly & efficiently while my poor toddler screamed his head off, but Dr. Hollander kept his cool, walked me through it, kept me calm & started humming "yellow submarine" to try & soothe my son. We were given a treatment plan to follow at home, and his email address if we had any questions. I am so happy to say after a few months of sticking to it- my little guys teeth are almost as good as new- You can barely tell there was an issue at all! Thank you Dr. Hollander for saving my son's teeth!! If you are searching for a non-evasive treatment plan and a top notch dentist- look no further!

Terrible dentists. So slow, not at all thorough, very unorganized. Do NOT recommend for dental…read moretreatment. And as a side note you should know that they make their patients with insurance pay the cost at checkout, then collect from your insurance and send the amount back to you, which is illegal. Very bad business!

The entire procedure took 1 hour 15 minutes. We paid $1655 out of pocket for just the "medical facility fee". This did not include dental costs and I'm still unclear whether this includes the anesthesia because I've been told different things by their office. It appears they are billing my insurance company $42,000 for just the medical piece which seems extremely excessive for a regular dentist to spend 75 minutes in a 6 year old's mouth. I have no idea what our insurance company will reduce the bill to. Hopefully anyone who goes here has great insurance. We also didn't like that we didn't even have the option to do anything other than stainless steel in the back teeth. We would have liked the option to have done white crowns even though it would cost more but they wouldn't entertain it. Other dentists we consulted with would have given us more options but we were stuck with this facility in order to stay in our dental network. Expect to surrender all decisions to the dentist and not have any options. But the procedure was fast and glad it's over with. The dentist was nice and seemed competent and did meet with us before and after. A few weeks later and my son is still getting used to the spacer but his crowns seem to be fine.
