I was…read morefortunate to get a private tour from the Director and I was thrilled to find out all the wonderful resources they offer. All the staff is friendly, welcoming and authentic. This organization started as a shelter for children and youth, back in 1969. It changed its name as it expanded services. Families navigating the uncertainty of abuse, neglect, divorce, separation, teenage pregnancy, or other adverse experience, can come here for assistance. Their services range from providing diapers and baby necessities to specialized counseling and afterschool services. They partner with the Boys & Girls Club of Norman to provide their afterschool care programs. This is available to children and youth ages 6-18. CCFI is also a member of the Welcoming Project, which ensures LGBTQ individuals/allies feel welcomed as patrons. Amazing organization doing great work!

He won't answer even the simplest questions regarding his health education and has absolutely no clue how to be a better honest physician. He doesn't ask follow up questions about your health. I'm never going back to him again because of his lack of medical knowledge, education or patient concerns. I think he's hiding the fact that he's a complete failure as a doctor even as a resident physician. Be aware that there are other similar resident physicians available in Norman Oklahoma. He's practicing at 900 East Main Street in Norman and at the Central Oklahoma Community Mental Health Center 909 East Alameda Street. You certainly can't trust him with your health concerns but he does look good in a well tailored suit.

It was a great time, seeing the fellowship of people coming together in celebration of their culture. The drum circles and traditional songs were amazing. The facilities at the tribes community center in Concho, Ok are impressive. They have a large community hall with a full kitchen and plenty of room for hundreds of people, just a few miles outside of El Reno. If you ever have the opportunity to attend an event, please do. It's an awesome experience.

Asian District is the center of Asian culture and international cuisine and commerce of Oklahoma…read more The district runs north along Classen Boulevard in central Oklahoma City from NW 22nd to NW 32nd Street. This area is bordered by Oklahoma City University to the west and Paseo Arts District to the east. The "Milk Bottle Grocery" marks the entrance to the district. Interestingly, Oklahoma City once had an original historic "Chinatown" underground in Downtown Oklahoma City. Let me walk you through some of my favorite places in the Asian District when you visit Oklahoma City. Start brunch with "dim sum" at Golden Phoenix which serves it EVERY DAY. For lunch, you have to try Vietnamese "pho" at VII Asian Bistro, the best pho in the area. If you want a more unique Vietnamese dish, try "Bún Bò Huế" from Pho Cuong Restaurant, recommend for returners ONLY. For dessert, stop by one of several tea shops in the area or Ling's Cakery for a delicious piece of "crepe" cake. For Asian grocery goods, visit Super Cao Nguyên, the largest Asian supermarket in the district. When heading out, swing by Lee's Sandwiches to get their famous Vietnamese iced coffee. Make sure to check for any night special events at Military Park such as Asian Night Market Festival.
