    Not good at all. People like this should not be in public facing jobs that require interpersonal…read moreskills. I get that the owner must prefer animals-- but since animals aren't going to walk in on their own, human skills are also needed. Those are not skills this owner possesses. Her organizational skills are lacking also. When I spoke to her assistant to schedule the first time, I asked for a fax number to send the boys vaccinations, and after taking the time to do that, this woman had no idea how to access her faxes for some reason, and I had to bother my vet's office again. I took my two teacup Pomeranians here ONE time. One of my poms had a pretty, full coat when he went in, and when he came out, half of it was gone. I specifically asked that he not be trimmed too much. My husband thought we should give the groomer another chance. When I came for a second time, and asked her not to cut it short like last time, she argued with me, swearing she didn't cut it short. Now maybe she defines "short" as shaved to the skin or something, but his hair was so much shorter, that we had to put him in a harness one size smaller. Never had that with another groomer. Not only that, but however she cut his hair, it is not growing back. She basically wrecked his coat, and is trying to blame the dog, saying he has "coat funk" (which our vet says is made up groomer jargon). Rather than blaming the dog, all this woman needed to do was to listen to me when I told her not to cut too much of my dog's hair off. Instead, she had to be right, and had to have the last word. She refused to listen, was rude, and kept repeatedly using this term "coat funk." The final straw was when she said "I didn't give your dog coat funk." No lady, you gave him the crappiest hack job of a hair cut he's ever had, and wrecked his coat. You did that. Not the dog. And I will let everyone know that this is the last place to take a dog you care about. If your dog has any kind of double coat, I advise you to go elsewhere. If you have any special instructions you want implemented, go elsewhere. If you want to be listened to, go elsewhere. You and your dog deserve better.

They assured me they'd be careful and take their time. I found a cut and several scratched on my pups little arm upon picking her up. I was not notified that my pup was injured and when I called to talk to them about it, they didn't respond. They still haven't responded :(

    Laura does a good job when & IF she shows up! However getting her here & on time is almost…read moreimpossible. We used Laura for almost a year. She never once was on time. She would always be 2-3 hours late. She had so many excuses, I couldn't keep them all straight. For example: "Her previous appointment ran over due to a fearful dog she had to go slow with" or "She didn't realize how long it would take for her to get to & from her prior appointment" or "There was an accident on the interstate & she had driven all the way out to her previous appt. & the people weren't home." I always tried to text & call her to confirm that she was in fact coming. Sadly more often than not I didn't get a response. If I did get a response, it was weeks AFTER she had missed our appt. I would get the excuse that her phone was acting up or she would say; "Oh you didn't get my text?" No Laura, I never received your text because you never sent one! This happened more & more frequently until she completely blew us off last week. I texted her to find out where she was? Our appointment was for 7:00pm. (Which was really late to begin with). I even asked her the day before if she was sure she would be here because she had missed our previous 2 appointments. I was worried because she told me that she had just "gotten out of the hospital."She confirmed she would be here. I sent her a text when she was a 1/2 hour late. She responded that she was finishing up her prior appt. & she would be here shortly. I texted her back @ 8:00pm & no reply... I finally called her & sent her another text @ 9:30pm. I told her to forget it and don't bother coming back. The worst part about this whole thing is she had strung us along for 8 weeks & my fur babies are the ones that ultimately paid the price. We were here for every single one of our appointments. Not once did we ever cancel or reschedule. Yet, Laura treated us like this. This gives all new meaning to the phrase, "Don't bite the hand that feeds you!" So if this review helps just one parent decide if they should or shouldn't hire Laura. Please think twice. I wish there had been reviews that I could have read prior to hiring Laura.

    I was a regular monthly customer of My Pet Carnivore for 20 years. The new ownership has brought a…read morerange of changes that I can no longer overlook. Although my product always arrived frozen, containers were broken and/or missing with every order. Sometimes I received incorrect product. I have finally been reimbursed for most of the damaged or missing products-but it was a hassle. They didn't respond to emails or website inquiries or phone calls. There is no longer an option to contact them via fb messenger. I finally had to comment on a fb ad post to contact them. I have also had orders arrive a week prior to the delivery date, after following their instructions to put delivery date in comments...and despite numerous messages to them (voice/text/emails), they delivered it early and i had no freezer space. Crickets to my concerns. I tried to overlook issues in the beginning, but they only got worse. I continued getting broken containers, missing items or incorrect items with every order. The new containers are no longer recyclable-which is a lot of trash into the environment. With such poor customer service and no attention to the container problems, I didn't feel i could continue to trust product quality. It might still be great, but all I have is their word, and my trust is not there anymore. Sadly I had to make the choice to leave a company I had supported for so many years. I found a new vendor who gets the product to me undamaged, and doesn't require me to buy insurance to cover them doing their job. It's also a little less expensive overall, even though I now pay shipping. I can no longer recommend this company. It used to be a really awesome vendor.
