Review: Experience with Paul the Computer Guy…read more I need the "E" key on my ASUS ROG laptop repaired. I was aware this might require a full keyboard replacement. I still do. I first sent an email, and a week went by without any response. After following up, I was asked for additional model information, which I immediately provided. A week later, I was told the replacement part was not available. I then found a replacement keyboard online and asked if it would work. The answer was yes, but only if a special tool was used, and they do not have this tool. Response received: "That would work, if I had the equipment to heat mold the keyboard in. Unfortunately, the keyboard is attached with melted plastic, not screws, so it requires special equipment. I would need the entire palmrest/upper case to do the repair." Communication was slow, and there was little expressed interest in completing the repair I need.. ASUS has also not been helpful. The result is that I have a 2-year-old laptop that is close to unusable because of a non-functioning "E".

6/15/20 DAYS GONE:) I…read morehaven't gotten to far into the game, but I have taken on 5 to 6  undead with baseball axe.  I found this to fun, but what is even better, is taking on a hordes of undead zombies... (zombies that eat just about anything and drink water)...and you will come across them whether you like it or not. I enjoy taking a ride through the country, but the undead is not the true threat. It the humans you come across.   Think of this saying..."Only the strong shall surrive"  so what do you think happens to the weak? This would force people to band together. Strength in numbers right? Zombies, Gangs, Rapist , murderers and thieves.   I will finish by saying this.  People who shit on you aren't necessarily your enemy. People who get you out of shit aren't necessarily your friend.  So if you're warm and happy,  you should keep your big mouth shut. If you scream for help in this game, you don't know who will answer.  I look forward to seeing and exploring this open world game. I even remember reading something about Naughty Dog wanting other companies to take up the reins should Naughty Dog decided they are done with the Uncharted Series.   I did not know until now that some has done just that. Bend Studios took the challenge and made one hell of an Uncharted game for a Game Boy size system.  Unfortunately I have no idea what the other gams are like with the exception of Days Gone.  This company has been around since 1993 even it were under different names. What matters is they are here today and still kicking. The are two games I would for them to take up the mantel for. United Front's Sleeping Dogs II which was canceled. The other game would be The Darth Maul game which was also canceled by Lucas Arts.    There is good news from what I read a few days ago. Bend Studios is planning on a Days Gone II. This is still in the early stages so anything can happen. Nevertheless,  I will look forward to playing the sequel should it happen. The game will be on Playstation 5 when it does. I will buy that system too:)

Today I had that horrible heart-dropping moment - I walked away from my MacBook, and when I…read morereturned 5 minutes later it was dead, and I was dead because I was in the middle of finishing something for a deadline. So, there was a lot of dead in my day... And then I called Michael and Paula at MPS Consulting. And my day was filled with a lot less six feet under. In fact, it was transformed by an excellent service response time, great conversation while the problem was assessed, and the verdict that while my battery in fact had bit the dust, my laptop was salvageable, and I was back in business and working away in less than 2 hours! To top it off, both Michael and Paula are very knowledgable about Apple products, have great service and rates, and will recycle parts as well as assist you in buying your next laptop. I highly recommend next time you need any laptop maintenance or have that "Oh sh*t" moment with your Apple product.
