Blake is incredibly knowledgeable about how to structure the site and our online presence to increase visibility and encourage engagement with our clients and prospective clients. And the website is more than what we could have asked for! He also provided and still provides suggestions and assistance that he has helped us streamline our online image. He really is a gem! Since we have been working with Blake, I have referred RicketyRoo to clients, business owners and friends. Our great friends at Sweet Threads can't say enough great things about Blake too! If your goal is to increase the online visibility of your business and you wish to catalyze your growth, call RicketyRoo!

Hiring RicketyRoo and its owner, Blake Denman, was the single most disastrous and costly mistake we've ever made. I am writing this to warn you--do not risk your livelihood with this agency. We feel completely robbed. During our discovery call, I spoke directly with Blake. I stressed multiple times that our company was entering a rapid growth period and we desperately needed an "adult in the room" to help us navigate it. He promised they could be the expert partners we needed. Based on his assurances, we paid them three months in advance--a staggering $24,000 ($8,000 a month)--for SEO, website management, and Google Ads. Right after they got our money, the illusion fell apart. They started with a generic "welcome to the partnership" email and an exhausting onboarding form with thousands of questions. We filled it out extensively. Yet, as time passed, we were constantly hammered by hundreds of emails asking silly, minor questions that I had already explicitly answered multiple times during our calls. It became painfully apparent that they weren't listening, didn't understand our account, and honestly had no idea how to handle it. For $8,000 a month, you expect elite execution. What we got was an utter disgrace. They advertise website design, but it's obvious they don't actually have anyone on staff who knows how to professionally make a small edits on a site. The development work they implemented was incredibly cheesy, cheap, and wildly unprofessional. We were promised dedicated landing pages and we got page templates that I did not like at all but I had to bend to the pressure and just say yea just do it as we already were hiring new employees and my partner asked me to shut up for now maybe they have a plan , but months went by and they were properly implemented. Out of curiosity, I priced out their contract "deliverables" on the open market and found I could have hired freelancers to do the exact same work for less than a grand. Their business model is fundamentally broken and borderline evil. It doesn't incentivize delivering actual results; it's just designed to string you along on a retainer for years while doing the bare minimum, which we don't mind the retainer and even sign multi year contract, but the way they do it at this company is a different level and you will find out if you end up hiring them, it will shock you and as I said, border line evil business model, this is coming from a seasonal business person with engineering background who understand how businesses functions. But the absolute worst part was their gross negligence with our Google Ads. They let a single piece of ad copy drain over thousands of our budget without generating a single conversion--and they just left it running! Our phones completely stopped ringing. I eventually connected an advanced AI (Claude) through an MCP to deeply audit our ad accounts and their deliverables for SEO and Google Ads. The audit confirmed our worst fears: the work was exceptionally poor, lacked any detailed, high-quality writing, and the google ads was blatantly generated by AI. They clearly do not have a specialized copywriter on staff and did not even know how to leverage AI properly in which we actually encouraged. Because of their sheer incompetence, our marketing expenses ballooned to over 40% of our revenue and our net profit tanked to single digit, our company evaluation was chopped by 60%. To keep our business alive while they fumbled our account, we had to scramble and dump over $25,000/Monthly into Yelp ads on the side just to get the phones ringing again, and the funny part they were sending me a messages saying that our account is gaining traffic and momentum without them knowing that all of that traffic is caused by the Yelp campaign (click-through traffic). We are not just venting; we have all the receipts. We have concrete evidence backing up every single claim here, including Claude's audit logs of their technical SEO mistakes and the many important things said included in their deliverable are not there or done right, snapshots of the embarrassing website deliverables, and hard data from Marketing Pro in our ServiceTitan proving the financial damage they caused.
