I spoke to Miguel. Very nice, great guy and very hospitable. He said he had a place with his father for over 18 years in Newtown. He branched off to open this new spot. They opened just a month in a half ago. It's a pretty spacious deli. Great lighting and extremely clean. Miguel told me they do most everything in house. They make their own meatballs and cook most everything there. Except the bread he told me is delivered. He also mentioned the roast beef which looked delicious that they do that in house too. There are signboards along two walls up high close to the ceiling with all of these sandwich specials. They have breakfast sandwiches, burgers, salads, sandwiches, grinders and paninis. They were quick to make a couple of warm grinders and a pressed reuben sandwich. Everything came out quick. Today on my first visit I purchased a meatball parm & chicken parm grinder along with the sandwich above I mentioned. This is where things changed but I'm going to leave it at that for now. Since they're very new and may have to find their own rhythm and tweak some things I'm going to wait on my personal critique of what I feel about the food for now. I'm only wishing the best for a new business and hoping for the best. I've heard good things in the short time they've opened and I'm wishing them great success.
