Once again back to Vista Veterinary today. We have three Golden Retrievers and we had three…read moredifferent days for their yearly exam. The first two days were for our 6 year old Goldens. Today's visit was for Mr Bentley who is 13 years old. Of course my anxiety was at the max because I was afraid to hear any bad news. Well once again Dr Medeiros went above and beyond. She treated Bentley with the upmost care and respect. She gave us a good report and put my mind at ease. Also Dr Medeiros had some blood tests drawn. Hopefully his blood results come back positive. With Bentley in Dr Medeiros care I truly believe Bentley is in the best hands. If anyone is looking for vet see Dr Medeiros she is truly second to none.

I am beyond angry and heartbroken over what happened to my 8 year old Shih Tzu. I trusted Vista Vet…read moreClinic with my baby's life, and I will never forget the pain of losing her. My dog underwent a spay and bladder stone removal. it was a big procedure and I was told that she did not need to stay overnight afterward. As her owner, I trusted the veterinary professionals to explain what she needed and to give me the information necessary to keep her safe. I feel completely failed by the people I trusted to care for her. My dog was part of my family for eight years. She was not just a pet, and she deserved to receive the proper care and attention after undergoing surgery. I am devastated that she is gone, and I am left wondering whether things could have been different if I had been properly informed about the care she needed. No owner should have to live with this kind of heartbreak while wondering whether their dog could have been saved. I trusted this clinic with a life that meant everything to me, and that trust has been shattered. I am angry, I am devastated, and I want answers about why I was not clearly informed about the need for overnight monitoring after her procedures. I would never want another family to experience the pain my family is going through. Veterinary clinics have a responsibility to communicate clearly with pet owners, especially after surgery. Owners cannot make informed decisions about their pets care if they are not given the information they need. My little girl deserved better. Eight years was not enough, and the pain of losing her is something I will carry with me. I hope this review encourages other pet owners to ask questions, demand clear instructions, and make sure they understand exactly what their pets need after surgery. after $5,000 being spent and losing my girl, i am not happy with the service i received here. i will never get my zoe back.

Out of every rescue service I called, every shelter and vet's office, Cape Cod Animal Hospital were the first to pick up. I told them I had a boxer in poor shape (she was bleeding from both back paws and limping from her left hind leg) and asked if I could bring her in to find out if she had an ID chip and if she could get a little medical attention. They invited us right over. When we got there, the boxer got excited and was very receptive to the technician there (Melissa). While my neighbor and I were there waiting for the Barnstable Animal Control, meanwhile we'd posted the boxer's picture on facebook and lo! a connection was made. As soon as we learned the dog's name was Lexy, the technician had a light bulb go off *SHE REMEMBERED THE DOG* and knew her last name. Lexy was picked up and reunited with her family after two weeks outside!!!!!!!!! It was such a happy ending, and all because of the help and care of the people at Cape Cod Animal Hospital. My husband and I take our cats to the Sandwich Animal Hospital, but Cape Cod Animal Hospital is our number one back up for great veterinarian care!! THEY WERE OUTSTANDING AND CARING ^__^ And they helped us reunite a beautiful boxer with her family!
