Granted I haven't' been to some of the really fancy expensive hookah bars with food and belly dancers and stuff, but this is definitely the place to be in DeKalb! There are a variety of different tobacco brands available for service, and hundreds of flavors to choose from. If you're not sure what you want you can always have your server make you a great surprise flavor. Compared to other hookah bars I'd say the selection is the best. The place is pretty clean. The servers are always friendly, informative and attentive. The downstairs lounge is like a dark dungeon with red and black lights and comfy couches and pillows - perfect for a chill hang out with friends or a casual date. The upstairs has a bit more class - leather couches, a bit more light, a large flat screen TV with cable and some movies, chess or poker chips and cards available. There is a variety of music - Middle-eastern and American. Depending on what kind of atmosphere you're looking for, some nights could be better than others. This places goes with the flow of the school year since it's located right by Northern Illinois University. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday tend to be a bit quieter, so if you don't like crowds those are nice days to come in. Wednesday is the discount day - perfect day to get the most for your money. Thursday though Saturday are days when all the college students come out to party, so it's usually much busier - if you like to be in the middle of all the action those are the days for you. Also the trends are - earlier time is quieter and the later it gets in the evening the more people come in. By the way, let the server know if it's your birthday - you can get a great birthday hookah on the house! :) If you're looking to buy product instead of coming in for a smoke session, there is also a store section. There is a fantastic variety of brands of tobacco and flavors to choose from and lots and lots of hookahs. The employees are very knowledgeable about the products and will not let you leave without the best quality hookah, tobacco, coals and accessories your money can buy. If you live in the area, Aroma's can become your favorite hang-out spot, and if you live far away - it's worth the trip! :)

Ample amount of tables for seating and some rooms with couches and televisions if you'd like. For the TV's, they have Netflix, Spotify, Hulu and all the fixings like you're right at home. For the hookah, it's pretty unique if you want it to be. For the bowl (where the tobacco goes), you can get a hollowed out fruit -- apple, pineapple, watermelon, lemon and so on. Trust me, this makes it taste so much better. For tobacco, they have Starbuzz, Al-Fahker, Fumari and more (which are the traditional suppliers). You can mix flavors together if you wish. The Turkish coffee is really good as well, and you can get it without sugar if that's your thing. It's really caffeinated and quite good.
