He was a very clear communicator in discussing scope, their capabilities, costs, and timing. Quality (5/5): Mauro was incredible on-site! He was courteous and a true professional. He took care of both slow draining sinks in a timely manner and even told me about a part under one of the sinks that could be troublesome down the road. Reasonable, honest plumber who does excellent work!…read more On June 6, 2026, I was in the Bronx helping a family with a water leak in their nearly 100-year-old house. This review is 1.5 months late because I wanted to be sure that the repairs made by Felip at GME Plumbing held up after he completed the plumbing work. I took pictures and sent them to Felip and he provided a reasonable estimate which included parts and labor, so we hired him. Felip and his helper did excellent work, left the place clean, and took away the rubbish. We paid the price in his estimate; there were no surprise extra charges. He 1) Repaired a leaking shower, replaced seat of valve with a special tool. Two previous plumbers only changed the washers and the leaks never stopped. 2) Replaced washing machine valves located behind shower wall. 3) Removed an old leaky toilet and replaced it with a new toilet. It's been over a month since the repairs were completed and there have been no leaks. The water bill is 40% less because of the repairs Felip made. We are very happy with Felip's work and will definitely use him again should we have further plumbing issues.
