My first impression of the aesthetic of Flawless Smiles was pretty in pink. With soulful music in the background it's like you are immediately transported to a pink oasis. The bathroom is also spotless and smells amazing. I was settled into a table right away and Juliet explained the process (you can definitely tell that she knows her teeth). Which for the Basic teeth whitening consists of 3 20 min sessions back to back with a rinsing of water in between but also to give your jaw a break from the retractors. She then offers the extra service of adding the mineral pen this allows you to be able to go back to your regular diet without worrying about staining foods (let's face it it's practically everything) ruining your results. While you sit in the chair getting your teeth whitened, they give you these yellow tinted plastic glasses that supposedly protect your eyes. I was doubtful because they look like they came out of a cereal box. When you're done with the procedure, you take the glasses off and your teeth look pretty white. A glass of lemonade would look white at that point too - after spending about an hour seeing everything tinted yellow. When my eyes had adjusted and I got home I realized my teeth hadn't whitened at all. Tricky! They also are very pushy to get you to buy another session at a discount. The discount only applies if you pay on the spot, and they really press you. I paid in the office for a second session that I didn't even bother going back for because it's truly a waste of time for minimal results. They sometimes offer a discount for positive Yelp reviews, so keep in mind that a lot of these 5 stars are from people who are getting some money back and haven't had enough time to realize their teeth are same as always. As a final insult, my teeth were incredibly, painfully sensitive for the rest of the day.

She told me that she had ran out of products, but that she would be happy to give me the full package (an hour) free of charge! I was totally fine waiting for the Groupon I had purchased, but she was so incredibly sweet to had offered. On the day of the appointment, I was immediately sat down to start the process. There is a huge screen in front of all the chairs so nobody ever gets bored. Zeneyda and her husband are two of the most sweet and funny people I've met! As I was sitting down during the process, Zeneyda told me some fascinating stories of how she was once a helicopter pilot. I felt completely at ease and cared for during the entire appointment.
