We've brought our Shitzu here for years, we followed Lisa over from across the street. She always does a great job on our now senior pup, she's gentle and loving to her, we know as our pup looks forward to going in when we drive up. Rarely does she get nicked, if she does it's our fault for not bringing her in or brushing her as often. Also, if she has to cut her short, again, our fault for not bringing her in or brushing her regularly. They do short here so be very specific or show a picture if you want the cut or face to be a certain way. read more

Lady told me she nicked my Elsa's ear,, this is not a nick! Her ears are thin & i have nicked her ears before myself but never this bad. They is from being way to rough and not paying attention.. Elsa also has alot of hair they missed. Which is hard to miss her hair she has easy fur to trim I just refuse to only get one dog groomed and not the other. Wiggles (black dog) I asked them to cut everything super short on his head and body except his mustach and ears. They chopped the crap out of his mustach. I don't know why they even ask me. they left his afro which is all shaped funky. And they cut one of his eyes. Honestly they had to have been way to rough on them because they are veterans at the groomers. 10 and 15 years old and never a problem of this sort. Wiggles nails were not trimmed either. read more

Usually I don't even post reviews but i want to tell people the experience I had. First, When we walked back in to pick up our dog, we heard the young man that works here aggressively SHOUTING. We thought in our heads that maybe something happened but as we got closer we saw him SCREAMING loudly at all of the dogs in a very aggressive tone telling them to shut up because the dogs were barking. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY not okay. And makes us feel like they did not treat our dog well. Not only did we witness it but once we walked in, the lady at the counter looked at us shocked as if she was thinking, "uh oh. They heard that." Then, we get our dog and we were charged $100. This is usually ok as long as they do a great job, but they didn't listen to any of our instructions. My dog has TONS of uneven patches on her. And it doesn't even look like they cut her nails. She also didn't smell like they bathed her either. She just looked extremely short with a whole bunch of uneven long patches. Her head was super uneven and her right eye was cut at the very top. I will not bring my dog here again. You guys are a grooming place and it is normal for dogs to bark, but you need to tell your employees to not yell aggressively at any of the dogs and treat them nicely. Also, it looks like you just rushed through my dogs haircut. You didn't even take the time to make sure it was even. I can't believe I got my dog back the way she is. Nope. Would not recommend this place. Both the owner and workers are very curt over the phone and in person. What is most deserving of a low rating is that the owner treated my senior dog very roughly, which my dog and I hated. She couldn't finish the cut, it was a terrible haircut and she still charged me the full price. In summary: Poor customer service. Was looking for a last minute groomer who would take in my 2 yorkipoos since they have not got a haircut since this whole covid thing started and their usual groomer was booked out. Called Lisas and was able to get in same day. At first I was thankful but I wish I had never taken my dogs to her. She cut my dogs toungue and did not even bathe them. In a nutshell, this is the best groomers I've ever had to date!!!! My dog is an 80lb German Shepherd and he is pretty good going to the groomers. I usually send him to the Petsmart chain store located by my house. I figured they did a decent enough job, and the pricing was reasonable. Well, they were all booked up on a Saturday and my dog needed a bath!! On a referral, went to Lisa's Pet Grooming. Off the beaten path, but still on a major street. What a huge difference with Lisa!! 1. When they brushed out his undercoat, it was all gone!!! No frizzy hairs sticking out and it was obvious they spent some time brushing him. 2. His fur was very soft!! He has course hair to begin with, and Petsmart gives him back to me feeling that way. When I got him from Lisa's, his fur was smooth, soft, and had a shine to it. I was impressed by that because I had never seen him like that after the groomers. 3. Staff was really friendly and personable! I really liked the fact that they asked me if it was okay to give him a doggie treat (he has food alllergies). Heck, Petsmart doesn't offer treats. 4. For a local groomers (not a chain), their place was spacious and clean (look and smell too). Other local groomers places are usually compact and cluttered. This isn't a day spa, but it was very well maintained. Gripes: I paid $60 for his grooming versus $45 and Petsmart. But the $15 difference was well worth it. Definitly going to go back there! In all fairness to Petsmart, they are a chain store and the dog groomers there are young and probably don't have as much experience as Lisa's (23+ years). I've also gone to another locally owned groomer, paid a little less, but didn't get the same result as Lisa's. Bottom Line: You get what you pay for, and the extra $15 bucks isn't going to kill me when it comes to my dog. I would certainly recommend Lisa's. PEACE! read more

Owner is very rude, very rough with my shih tzu. She said she charged $20 an hour to brush her out. She said that she's was too matted to brush her out and wanted to just shave her. She said it would take two hours, and she stated that she was "much too busy". She grabbed a wire brush and started hacking at my dog while in my arms, and kept saying "LOOK, LOOK I NEED IT TO FLOW THROUGH." Been coming here for about a year.. My hound dog Duke really enjoys this place.. He doesn't like being locked up in a cage, he loves being with humans and it was always hard to get him in other grooming places. They would literally have to pull him in the back and he would be looking at me with very sad eyes.. So when i found this place that didnt cage the animals for hours i had try it. Been very happy ever since.. Duke has NO problem going with them. My yorkie mix Emma is a little more nervous about other dogs but here she okay if she needs to be in a cage to feel better they will.. I will always take my fur babies here.. Nothing but the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! Thank you so much ladies!!! Rescued my neighbors dog because she passed away. Unfortunately. Dog was a bit matted and had very long fur had not seen a groomer in over 2 years. Called in and explained our situation and he was able to get in bright and early the next morning. Lisa, is my girl!! She has been my babies groomer for years now. She so careful, gentle, friendly and warm hearted I love her. My baby would not let any groomer cut her hair she would bark and be a little rebel. So I finally found Lisa and it was such a connection between both of them. My baby felt so comfortable with her yes, I stood there the first time I took her to make sure she was ok and I was surprised that she did so well. Now, she only cries a little when I leave but Lisa always sends me text messages to let me know she's fine. I can leave her from the a.m.-p.m. and she's fine. Never take your pet there. Chop job! Chop job! Took my West Highlands Scottish Terrier for a pet groom and came out chop job. Horrible, horrible. They even cut part of his privates with clippers. When told how displeased of the service, basically was told, "Oh, well". Again, never take your pet there. The staff that runs the place are rude and cut to the chase. I took my little 2 year old dog there to get his nails cut and she cut every blood vessel in every single one of his nails!!! And she was did it all in front of me. My dog is tough and never cries but he was crying. I asked her if she was cutting them too short and she said "no" as if its normal for them to cry when she cuts their nails. When I got him in the truck with me he was bleeding all over. He even continued to bleed after I brought him home and even after I bathed him an hour later.
