Like most Houston barbershops, Lisa's was not able to properly cut and style my longer hair. The cut was good for what it is but not what I requested, and I believe I clearly guided the barber before the cut. read more

If I could post a 0 star review I would. we tried them once before and had a great experience. They were aware my husband had dementia and treated him very kindly as well as patiently. This time my husband needed his service dog with him. As soon as we entered , the staff member in the chair closest to the front desk pointed her finger to the door and shouted "out". I told her no, that this was my husbands service dog. She challenged me to show the papers, which is against the law. I told her to look up the ADA law. Some other woman who works there also buttedin and said the dog required a vest. I again told no vest is required under the ADA. She told me I didn't know what I was talking about. All of this and more occured in front of all the customers. Their behavior was totally inappropriate and illegal. I will be filing a complaint with the ADA next. read more

After getting a haircut that would get most kids beat up at Sports Clip I decided to give Lisa's a shot. When I entered I did not have an appointment and let Miranda cut my hair. At first I was a bit skeptical as she did not have a wait. Usually when you go to a new barber shop and you go to the open chair you end up with bald spots or a butchered cut, not the case with Miranda, she gave me an amazing haircut and going forward will be my barber as long as I live in Texas. I probably got one of the worst haircuts here that I've ever gotten. I'm sure other barbers are better than the one I had, but she had no idea how to do a bald fade. Left long hair on my sideburns. Probably one of the more expensive barbershops in The Woodlands also. I will say that my texture of hair is a bit harder to cut, but that's no excuse to leave chunks of hair on the side of my head when I ask for a fade. I first found Lisas in the public magazine LINKS. I tried it once and kept coming back. I usually come in on Saturdays, and the atmosphere has that relaxed small town feel. I go to Robert all the time. Sometimes I have to wait but never get a bad haircut or beard trim. There are two flatscreens that always have sports playing. Those and my phone makes the wait quick. Give them a try and you will enjoy the Barber shop. read more

We've been taking my son here for a few years; he used to be deathly afraid of hair cuts, but Robert changed all of that. He is patient, caring, and understanding of my little guy. He outgrew his fear, but we still keep coming back to Robert for a quality hair cut. They're a little pricey at $20 for a kid's hair cut, but it's a very nice place. Brenda is my barber. As I grow older and have less hair I am more particularly about the way the remaining hairs are cut. (When I was younger, I would occasionally hack it all off myself and upholster a couch with the discards.) Brenda is excellent. read more

Today was my first time going to Lisa's Barber Shop. I was looking for a barber to do an undercut with a design. I had a picture of the design I wanted. Lisa the owner did the undercut and design perfectly! I was totally pleased with Lisa's work! I had a hard time finding a shop in the area that does undercuts with a design. read more

My first experience with this barber shop is I walked up to door right about 6pm and as my hand was on the door handle a lady locked the door and turned off the open light without saying a word to me. I returned a month later when I needed my hair cut again and they cut my hair pretty well. I did like the way they use a straight blade to edge up around your ears. read more

I'll start off by saying if you go here see anyone except for Rose. Everyone else was super friendly but I did not have a good experience with Rose. She messed up and was super rude about the whole thing. I read all the reviews before going and I have to say I was a little disappointed. I have a pretty simply haircut, one that's pretty common nowadays. Short on the sides and a little long on top; like an old school pompadour. The top was cut much shorter than I had asked and the sides were cut super choppy. We even had to go over it twice before it was decent enough for me to just politely say thank you and leave. I was so distracted by what was going on with my hair that when I got home I noticed while Rose was cleaning up some of my beard she had cut a gash into it and now it looks really bad and I have to shave it off. I was really disappointed since I was growing it out and it's pretty long. We called and talked to the owner and she very politely allowed us to come and get a refund. When I had come back for the refund I was approached by Rose, the one who had cut my hair. She was very rude and was raising her voice at me as I tried to calmly explain what I didn't like about my haircut. I was so close to just breaking and chewing her out as the owner Lisa quickly stepped in and got me my refund and out of the door as soon as possible. While Lisa and the rest of the staff were very polite and friendly, Rose gave me the death stare as Lisa processed my refund. All of that to say it was not a very pleasant experience and I will not be returning. read more

Brenda and Lisa are the barbers we go to, although the rest of the staff is just as friendly and knowledgable. I discovered this barbershop by searching online after my boys experienced a few poorly-done haircuts from a well known chain store. After our first encounter with Lisa's we were hooked for life and willing to drive the extra miles each week or so. They treat you like an old-friend as soon as you walk into the door. This place is a real barbershop, so get ready for updates on the local news, gossip, stories, and jokes. The atmosphere is laid back inside with flat-screens and flags of favorite college and NFL teams. It reminds me of a family-friendly man-cave. They have plenty of seating for those busy days, plenty of things to read, drinks for sale, free suckers for the kids, and they keep it really well air conditioned. There is a nail salon and cafe next door which is nice for me when the boys go for their grooming. The prices are very reasonable, and overall we couldn't be more satisfied. read more

We love it there. My 9 year old daughter has been a few times and knows everybody's name to our surprise. Although it's a barber shop, Lisa cuts my daughters hair and now cuts my son and husbands hair. We always feel welcome and kids actually look forward to getting their hair cut. read more
