Sarah was very attentive and listened to what I needed. She mentioned that when the salon gets busier, everyone has a lot of fun and it can get a little loud with people, singing and laughing and talking everywhere. If I'm ever in an extra outgoing mood, I'll book my appointment for when it's a little busier and just see what that's all about :-) Drea at the front desk was very kind and helpful. She offered me water before, and after my appointment. Paxton was very sweet to assist Sarah in drying my extra long hair. We also had some great conversations during my appointment and since I'm new to the area, Sarah gave me some helpful suggestions on next steps with my hair and places to go for different services. I could sense the spirit of God in her which made our time together extra enjoyable and guided ou conversation.

Two Young ladies, both of the seemed not interested interested in helping. But was even weird is that when I asked how much haircut was explained about my grandson having a graduation this evening and we just didn't realize his hair was in need of a cut when I picked him up me being the grandmother she said "my haircut started at $90." but really didn't offer to help. also, someone standing at the desk in a little corner not doing anything.. she did mention it. Another young lady could probably do it, who was actually working on someone but her haircut started at $50 so I asked for a 14-year-old boy? And she said it doesn't matter the gender or the age or haircut starts in $90. I think the problem was more that she looked down at me as if one I couldn't afford the $90 even though it is ridiculous for a 14-year-old boy haircut but the vibe was not comfortable. I can't review haircuts and I can't review any services because obviously we didn't stay to get any service done. All I can say is that I left there feeling belittled and looked down on and scratching my head thinking about the $90 for a 14 year-old boy haircut.???? after she continually referred me to three different places I realize she really didn't want to Service me or my grandson. ....good luck.

But, as I began reading all her 5 star reviews, I knew she would be the perfect choice as I started craving some blonde highlights. I found my way to Salons by JC, where her salon is located at the Legacy Shopping Center. When I walked into Tabitha's studio, I was super excited and immediately felt at home in her space. I love the way the whole place it decorated. She sells jewelry as well as great hair products like Brazilian blowouts and she was the first stylist in San Antonio to provide feathers for those of us looking to jump on that craze. One thing I think is really great about Tabitha is that she keeps her eyes on the latest trends all over the country and goes out of her way to stay on top of all of it. That brings me to my highlights. As I explained to Tabitha that I wanted the whitest of white highlights, she told me she was a bit concerned about how much damage that can do to hair. She was totally willing to do it if I wanted but thought that what might be a better choice for me is to go for some platinum extensions. I decided to go with her recommendation and I'm so happy I did! My hair looks beautiful, I got the blonde I was wanting, but it's not permanent and it won't damage my hair. I also won't have any roots to go back and match every 6 weeks. All in all, I can't recommend this woman enough. She's an amazing stylist and I feel so fortunate Yelp led me to her!
