I realized this after I moved out of state and was so frustrated with the level of service I received by other realtors. Here's our story of how we bought and sold with Sonja. I called Sonja off a sign two years ago while looking for our home in Bend. I had already met a few other realtors but not settled on anyone. Sonja was already very well established and still made us feel like her first priority. She was sending me properties and responding to all the properties I saw immediately. She got us in homes quickly and was always there with us. We found the home we loved and realized during inspection it was a money pit and the sellers were not willing to compensate. She sat with me while I cried and gave the realtor who jerked us around a piece of her mind. At that point we were four weeks from being homeless and no prospective houses were on the market. I was ready to sign a year lease when I saw a home pop up, sent it to Sonja, and she met us there within 30 minutes. We put an offer in an hour later and she secured us the house out of 7 other offers (ours was not the highest). She knew I liked to know all the details and kept me informed during every stage of escrow. When it was time to sign and my husband was out of town moving all our possessions she watched my young children, gave them toys and fed them donuts so I could read and sign the contracts . We got in the house in three weeks and escrow went incredibly smooth. After we were in the home Sonja sent us recommendations or service workers and helped us get settled. She sent us house warming presents, included us in client appreciation parties and constantly checked in on me and my family. She truly cares and her actions after the sale prove it. Two years later my husband got a job offer we couldn't refuse in the Midwest. Sonja helped us list our home within a week and a half of finding out we were leaving. The market is crazy and we got many offers. Sonja helped us weed through them and pick the buyers with the best package to end in a smooth closing. We had to move before our home closed. Sonja was meeting with contractors to get things fixed, taking out the garbage and checking on our home every day. Her service didn't end there. A realtor we were working with in Michigan showed his true colors by trying to pressure us into a sale that we knew wasn't right. I was so frustrated when Sonja called to check in. I gave her a rundown and she then proceeds to call her Michigan contacts for a good realtor, interviews these people, and sends us a list of realtors she thinks will work well for us. I'm still just floored. Currently we are in escrow for a home with realtors Sonja helped us find. They got the job done but don't hold a candle to her level of service... I'm not sure she set a fair bar for others. Sonja is true service. She loves her job and cares for her clients. I seriously cannot recommend her enough, I've sent friends to her and they all had similar experiences. She is a treasure!

Scott is absolutely top of the game A+ partner in any real estate transaction. He's genuinely interested to understand the needs and wants, knows all Bend and surrounding neighborhoods in and out and always has your best interest in mind. His working ethics, transparency and integrity are exemplary. All that topped off with a sense of humor that will make your day no matter if you found the home or not yet. When we started to work together we were undecided as for the exact criteria and location. Fortunately we could really count on Scott to shape our perspective while touring multiple properties. He was instrumental in expanding our search beyond Bend proper, helped us consider the pros and cons of the Three Rivers area (a little known gem!) to land our dream house. We're somewhat demanding clients and Scott over delivers every step of the way: from a real time audio tour on the way to see the properties, through staying on top of everyone involved in the transaction: home inspectors, appraisals, title company, lenders you name it. Scott has everything under control and his professional, proactive approach is absolutely amazing. We always knew what was happening next and why. He went above and beyond to answer in detail every question we had, from short term rental laws / CC&Rs through property permits /inspections to closing. Or referred us to specialist in areas which were outside of his expertise. Scott's extensive network has proven invaluable before, during and after we closed on our house. Scott single-handedly redefines what it means to be real estate agent. He'll be your partner and a trusted friend during your real estate search. We're so happy to have found him and you'll be too. Scott stepped outside and asked if he could help to answer any questions. Engaging in a conversation with Scott that day was one of the best ad hoc decisions we have ever made. He spent the next hour and a half not only patiently answering all our questions about Central Oregon real estate market but also gave us a pretty comprehensive 101 course on home buying. During our 10+ years of renting in SF Bay Area we have considered purchasing a house several times. The horrendous price tags have been stopping us from doing it, but the perspective of choosing and trusting a real estate agent wasn't helping either. The brokers we came across on different occasions here and there, seemed dishonest, pushy and commission driven. It was quite nice to realize that Scott is none of the above. He is a genuinely nice, frank and easygoing person. His work ethics are superb and he approaches every task with attention to details. We were very upfront with Scott about going through the process one step at the time and we were impressed with how respectful he was of our timeframe. Over the next few months, we stayed in touch, occasional asking some questions while gathering more information on our own. Scott very casually checked on us once in a while without ever making us feel being pushed or rushed. Once we were ready to move ahead Scott was immediately ready to switch into the action mode. He helped us set up a personalized search profile on his portal reflecting our needs and expectations so we could be notified every time a matching property showed up on the market. It was very helpful in getting a better feeling about what's available and what's realistic. Once we got a list of a few properties to see, Scott organized and perfectly executed a weekend showing of a dozen properties we were interested in. His knowledge about each listing and surrounding community was impressive. I was particularly impressed with his honesty in pointing out the pros and cons of each property. At the same time, he was carefully listening to our feedback and addressing all concerns we have voiced. Communication with Scott was always super-efficient, even though it was mainly done long-distance with us living in SF Bay Area. Scott is incredibly responsive and flexible in using different means of communication. We have never felt overwhelmed with his emails or texts, while very well informed. Since it was our first experience with the home purchase we needed to trust Scott's knowledge, experience and instincts. We can say without any doubt that he always had our best interest in mind and went above and beyond to help us every step of the way. We ended up buying a wonderful property at a great price, matching our expectations perfectly. Scott has also navigated us smoothly through financial aspects of the process, the escrow, all necessary inspections etc. Even now, a few months after closing, we can always count on his advice on home or Bend related topics. If you ever decide to work with Scott, rest assured, you will be in the excellent and very capable hands.
