I thought that we could do a lot of the things that a wedding planner could do and save some money but at the same time we had so many things to worry about it would be less stressful for us at the wedding to have a wedding planner who we could rely on to make sure everything went smoothly. After everything has been said and done, I could not be happier that we decided to get one and that we decided to work with Rachel at Glass slipper. What I found most helpful was being able to check in with someone who actually knew what to expect. Neither of us had been married before so you can read all the books you want, sometimes you just need a little life experience to really guide some of the decisions your need to make and will likely never have to make again. Being able to talk to and email Rachel made this a little easier for us, went things were quoted and if it sounds a reasonable rate or when something went awry we were able to check in with someone who knew what you could do or alternatives. I think inevitably thing will go wrong the day of your wedding. I think things will go wrong in various levels of impact the week leading up to your wedding, from last minute sick relatives, to things that went missing, to things that weren't thought of. There was managing venders and any mishaps regarding them and working with everyone in the venue. This is where I really appreciated hiring Rachel. I felt like she really did everything she could to lessen the impact of those things we had the ability to control and really help us enjoy our day to the fullest without having to worry about the small stuff. I think that in itself was what made it worth it and I am so happy we went with Glass Slipper Wedding and Events.

Highly personable and responsive, she knows where to offer suggestions (whether it was adding an extra flair or NOT cluttering the venue with extra decor) and also how to calm our nerves. We opted to work with her after we lost our progress on wedding planning due to the pandemic. Over the course of about a year, she helped our wedding planning process go so smoothly, it felt almost too easy at times! Her presence was crucial on the big day, from tracking down stray party members to transporting items throughout the venue. Her sense of humor and industry expertise made the entire process fun rather than stressful. I cannot recommend Rachael enough!

Marisa is awesome, so detailed and full of energy making the planning for the event so easy. Both her and her husband Chris are engaging and make the set up and breakdown seamless. We requested Sara and Dana once again who were simply fabulous in the summer...and did not disappoint! They were phenomenal, this time inside instead of outside with less space! They made it happen and for 4 hours everyone had an absolute blast!!. Their energy, ability to make such refreshing drinks (cocktails/mocktails), coffees, you name it just put the exclamation point on an incredible night with our Company! They do it all and with a smile on their faces. They make you feel like you've known them forever. Adults, kids, everyone felt comfortable and had a blast. I pay cash for everything upfront so who ever picks up the order only needs the receipt. First time they were right on the mark. The food was excellent, and trays were ready at the time promised. Second time 2 sides were missing and I needed to wait for them to make the sides about 45 minutes. Guests were arriving at my house and I was waiting for food. But these things do happen unfortunately. However, the third time there was no excuse. Christmas Eve. Ordered the food and paid for it 2 weeks before. Customers were lined up in the parking of the building they were renting and down the block. It seems as though he had high school kids bringing the orders out who didn't have a clue as to what they were doing. My pick up was 3 o'clock. They didn't call my name for 2 hours after continually being promised that I am next. Finally my order was ready. I squeezed through the crowd to place my order in the car to go home. After arriving home with my guests arriving, I realized this time I was again missing 2 items from my order. So I returned to tell them and I was informed they must have given it away. And my response was to make up my 3 orders. Now the crowd outside was growing and people's orders were being given to the wrong people. Mine was finally ready after many inquiries. Got home by 6:45. Since then, the owner closed up shop and moved elsewhere, and then again moved and so on. It's a shame as the food from this caterer was really very good and he would have had a great catering business in town. But he blew it big time. My advice is to stay away from this caterer no matter his promises or price, whatever town he has landed in now. Seems as though he is running from something.............

Appetizers consisted of steamed muscles, fried calamari and bacon wrapped dates. There was also a platter with fresh fruits and mellon slices, cheeses and crackers. All so good. They served a wonderful buffet. This is the first time I can remember wanting to try everything just based on the looks. So I piled a plate high with a Cesar salad with the perfect amount of dressing, a loaded rigatoni pasta salad, broiled potatoes, sliced roast beef with a dark thick au jus and horseradish sauce, a excellent rollatini, vegetables and assortment of bread. Culinary Classics Catering hit one out of the park by my standards. Don't use anyone else for your next catered affair.

Even if you got an egg there was nothing in some of them and others had Raffle tix in which employees were winning prizes. Paintballs everywhere so people left covered with paint on shoes and pants. No one knew when to start the race or where the field even ended. The people who went first were the only ones who won. Couldn't even hear the numbers called and numbers were called even when people still were hunting. Such a rip off for $37.50 a ticket. I want my money back!

Lisa was my maître d and she is actually magical. She addressed all my concerns leading up to the day and worked seamlessly with all of my other vendors to make sure I was 100% taken care of. Everyone in my family was ranting and raving about her, saying she was always right there to make sure they had everything they wanted; if they needed a drink, she was right there with one. Their taste testing was just like a two hour wedding. It helped me pick my whole menu. Alyssa was wonderful, she answered all my questions very promptly. Gave me great instruction.
