When I began telling him what I was looking for, specifically a medium sized wooden box, not necessarily a humidor but something about that size that could be repurposed, he interrupted me without hearing the entire description. "You need to try antique stores," he said impatiently, "this is a RETAIL store." I began to explain that my fiancée and I have been looking in antique stores for some time and that what we are looking for doesn't necessarily have to be an antique, but he just glared at me. Proprietor made it crystal clear that he was uninterested in my business, and his impatience communicated that he didn't appreciate me wasting his time. I debated about asking about the three other items I had seen that I was interested in (chess sets, wine bottle stands, and a bottle of Chimay), but with the sheer unfriendliness of the proprietor and the way he kept glaring at me, I just left. Place has a variety of relatively nice gift items in addition to tobacco, alcohol and related accessories. If the proprietor were friendly I would probably recommend it.

This store is where your college student shops while the main one off Pullman-Moscow Highway is where the forty to fifty year old adults shop. Weird analogy but the merchandise reflects that. Lot of mixed sugary bottles here. The prices are about the same but this store stocks items for a younger clientele for sure. Some whiskeys and gin bait generally vodka and then Jager or Fireball. Two main registers here. Not a huge store but they are quick to check out patrons. As far as suggesting a specific palette they are not bothered. Just want to restock the shelves and clock out.
