I have been supporting my customer in Lewsiton for years, but it never occurred to me there would be wineries in the area, until fellow Yelper, Inna, visited and posted some photos and a review. Major shout out to Inna!!! So Apple maps takes you to a house on the property, but if you keep driving in, you'll see a sign for the Tasting Room in a larger building. They have seating inside and outside, but as it was a triple digit day, I opted to sit inside. Sarah was the individual assisting me and was fantastic! She knew her wine and is a local Lewiston resident! The tastings were a bargin at $10 for 8 tastings, and the tasting fee gets waived if you purchase a bottle, which are all super affordable! My favorite wine that day was the Ralph E Nichols, he was the owner's grandfather, and it's a wonderful red blend with Malbec, Cab Franc, Merlot, and Cab Sauv. I didn't purchase any bottles, as I had a carry-on, but I may need to plan my visits to accomodate a few bottles! Next time I'm in the area and I'm done early, I'm heading this way!

The pours were on the small side, but there was plenty of wine served and we did get an offer to revisit favorites. I'm pretty sure the tasting fee would have been waived if we bought a bottle, but we have a few too many bottles at home so I decided to just stick with the tasting fee. The employee was very nice and chatted with us more and more as the tasting progressed. The front area tables were all occupied when we arrived so they set up additional tables in the barrel room and opened up the wall/door so we could sit in there. The cool room felt wonderful on a hot day. They had outdoor seating set up but it was too hot out there. At least some of the other visitors appeared to be regulars. One couple apparently likes bringing in treats (like a chocolate bar) to share with everyone each time they visit so we enjoyed a surprise piece of dark chocolate. Overall it was a lovely visit. I just wish they had snacks. I would have loved something like fruit and cheese with the wine.

Short story: Wine tasting, charcuterie, and an amazing view…read more Longer story: The other favorite stop between Clarkston (Costco) and Pullman. We drove by without stopping so many times because it didn't seem like they have food. Turns out they have a fantastic charcuterie board and some other items (see menu photo) available. We haven't taken any of their bottles home yet but I really enjoyed the wines we've tried. They also have a big deck which has an AMAZING view. I definitely recommend that view. The indoor area looks comfortable as well but we're still preferring to dine outside. The only downside of outdoors is that we had to cut our first visit (in late August) short because there were way too many wasps checking out our food. Thankfully we didn't see any when we visited in late October. The employees have been nice so far. I prefer it when they stop by with the next bottle on our tasting list because it's much more convenient than having to walk indoors each time we empty our glass (which doesn't take long when it's a small tasting pour). Looking forward to visiting them again when the warmer weather returns.

I have re-located from Virginia, where going to a winery on a major holiday weekend means noise,…read morenoise, noise and huge crowds with slow service. This was truly a breath of fresh air! As you round the corner from the very large parking area, you are met with rolling green hills and open blue skies (the rain cleared shortly after we arrived). The water feature upon arrival was soothing and a nice photo opt against the backdrop. There was literally one table in the entire building. We were greeted by Sam, at the tasting bar. She was pleasant and knowledgeable about the wines. She suggested one of the wine tasting combinations that were the most sensible so my hubby and I could taste each others wine while saving a few bucks. Which this is a good business move, we ended up buying quite a few bottles. This place has so much to offer. They have reasonably priced bites to eat, a Wine Margarita machine (Dangerously delicious), Wine Growlers (Which was the first I ever heard of that existing!), a great selection of tasty wines, red & white. We were fans of the 2017 Riesling and the cab sauvignon. The red blend is great slightly chilled and enjoyed on those warm summer nights. This place was really a great find. So refreshing, open area where you did not feel herded around, trying to find a place to sit. Sam was a great host, ask her what the really weird, white building is in the distance of the fields from the winery.

We've enjoyed two wine tastings at their Uniontown tasting room…read more The first host was the mom and the second was the (adult) son. The conversations were quite different but both great. I remember the mom talking about how much the Washington wine industry has changed since the 1970s. The tasting fee was very low and it felt like we could re-visit any wine we wanted (or try some additional ones). I wish they also had food... maybe even just some chips or crackers. Maybe we'll bring some next time. I wish more people knew about this lovely little tasting room between Pullman and Lewiston/Clarkston.
