I was looking for bottles of Stout by Winnipeg brewery Half Pint and the clerk led me to the aisle, then turned over a case and show me the map and hours for the weekly brewery tour (Saturdays at 1pm no reservations needed). How is that for service! Even with all the taxes some of the prices were less than I paid in Seattle for the same Canadian products. Otherwise, the store was clean, well lit, well organized and well stocked. Other states and provinces could learn a lot from how they do it on the corner of Osborne and River.

Help! I came away with three delightful wines, (new to me) in a decent price range, and had great fun with a charming and gracious clerk. Sorry to have forgotten his name! Well worth a stop here, to pick up hostess gifts or for a good picnic wine in the summer!

A very good (not excellent) but acceptable selection of different wines. Most of their wines are in the $12-20 range which works well with most budgets! Great Italian Market!…read more Loved the range of foods available to purchase or eat on site. Plus you can buy wine as well. Loved my Italian Panino sandwhich with my Calabrio salad (meat and cheese salad). Also purchased a chilled pasta with meat entree (big enough for 4) to go. Definitely found them to be a good or better then Del Luca's and a much better value! Will definitely be back.

This is a private wine store located in the Kenaston Common area (crazy area to shop during the weekend). The layout is okay, but for whatever reason I've never found this place to be that easy to maneuver and easily browse. I've had staff help me with some suggestions and their picks have been successful half the time with the other half being selections I hated. Maybe just bad luck but service wide, I've found other private wine stores to be a bit more knowledgeable and usually staff picks have been much more successful. It's a good place if you know what you want and are just there to pick up a wine and go.

The store was also pretty much deserted, but that's besides the point. Legal drinking age is 18, which explains why some of the customers looked like highschool kids. The store was clean, and actually had decent beer and wine selection. Then again, I am no connoisseur, so what do I know. If you want local beer, there's a local brewery called Fort Garry.
