This store marks his bourbon up 3x. It's like a museum of allocated bottles at insane prices. Just head down the road and skip.

Unless the 2000 doesn't mean the year, but rather the number of unique selections this small, but fruitful store has. It reminds of the "In The Year 2000..." skits from the late night show years ago when I could stay up past midnight. Their prices may vary, so know the fair market price for items (or look them up while shopping). I found some great deals in the past, but then see other crap well over sticker price and fair market value. I lucked out one day and saw a bottle of Bookers for sale at a great price if you spent $50 on other stuff. It was well under what other have charged. It was easy to spend the $50 to get this 125 proof smooth as my bottom bourbon. On contrast, they had Blanton's too, but it was way overpriced even after you spent more more money on stuff. I forget the price, but it was way more than anyone should pay for it. I usually stop in here when at the Homegoods and/or the Brooklyn Water Bagel Co. Bagels and shopping make for a great early afternoon activity (especially since BWBC closes at 3p). The booze browse is a bonus!

My coworkers and I visit Publix at least once a week for lunch. We go back and forth between this…read morePublix or the larger one at Colonial Town Park Center. At times this one has better subs an fried chicken, but there are times when it's better at the other store. It's crazy how prices have soared at Publix over the years. I remember when you could get a full sub for $6.99 and a box of chicken for almost the same price. Now, a full Italian will cost you $10 and a box of fried chicken wings is $16. In the old days, you could find a two for one bag of chips for $5 now its abot $7. However, if they're not having any sales you're looking at spending $6 a bag, it's crazy. Oh and a gallon of lemonade or tea used to be two for $5, now it will run you $7 for the same deal. My team loves these M&M cookies which cost about $4 back in the day, now they are $6.19. Once in a while we'll pick up a cake and some ice cream for a birthday. The cheaper cakes cost about $7. And a tub of Blue Bell ice cream is about $9.20. Specialty cakes are anywhere from $15-$30. We usually buy for a group of seven or eight people, so we easily spend $100 or more each time we come here yet It's still cheaper than going to most other places in the area and you'll get a lot more for your money. We like to put our order in around 9:30 or 10:00 a.m. so we can pick up by 11:00 a.m., just in time for lunch - anytime after that Publix is pretty well slammed and you might be eating after 1:00 p.m. The store is always clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. If you are in the area and craving a great sub you have several options but Publix will cost you the least out of all of them (Laspadas, Jersey Mike's, Upsala Grocery, Firehouse, Jason's Deli, or Honey Baked Ham). If you have never had a Publix sub I highly recommend giving one a try!

Personally, I'm not much of a liquor drinker, but the selection here is better than your mom-and-pop liquor store, but not quite as good as Total Wine or ABC's. I like that everything is available in tiny sample sizes of a 25ml to huge party sizes of 1.75L. There's a few non-alcoholic mixers and sodas available. Beer selection is the same or maybe slightly better than what's next door at the actual supermarket. Not exactly a craft beer haven, but one of the better selections for a corporate environment. They don't have a "mix-a-six" option for those of us who just want single 12oz bottles instead of committing to an entire six pack. What's odd is there's hardly any wine except the mainstream stuff in the fridge. If you want a bigger selection, go next door to the actual super market. Also, bear in mind because this is a corporate store, they essentially throw any schmuck with a pulse behind the counter. If you want to chat with someone who knows the products well, I'd recommend a local store instead. Finally, something that drives me crazy about this store: NO AUTO-OPENING DOORS! This is EXTREMELY frustrating if you're walking into or out of the store with a shopping cart! The doors swing both ways, which is nice, and they have heavy duty crash bars on them because people are going to push them open with their shopping carts. Still, why can't they just put automatic sliding doors in!? Is this some kind of local ordinance or is corporate just too cheap to replace the doors!?

I asked him if he could hook any type of deal up because I had requested him to order me three or four different types of items that I would like him to have for me to buy the next time I come and month past and they couldn't even get me strawberry banana fuses let alone monster bars or anything that was not an elf bar yet which is seemingly all they sell now. They have the highest prices on vapes and liquor out of every smoke shop I've been to but they were really cool and they were but not to so I figured it was worth it but I'm not driving there at any time to get warm alcohol and a $25-$30 Vape oops sorry try Kevins stoner store if you need some cheap cold liquor and any vape you want for a reasonable price. they close at 1. also the last time I was there they tried to show me legal bud that didn't seem so legal and lo and behold I went in there today and all that was gone so I'm not quite sure he said he harvest he harvested it himself only from the local distributors yet how can you get local distributors to deliver you legal bud but you can't get local distributors to stock your Vape pens or turn on your air conditioning it's about 90° in the building so I messed up my review there I don't think seven stars receives .7 of a star because they are just. waiting to go out of business and no longer give a shit, they picked a bad location to put it in but it seemed it wasn't heart earned money they built it with. As of right now you can't get a vape for less then 20 or a cold bottle of any liquor or beer! only the soda machines in front of the store blocking the window to see that nothing else in the store was cold their air condition has been out for over a month , and they haven't gotten in any of the the 5 things i requested when i guarantee i was one of their best customers they opened about 5 or 6 months ago and me and my besty spent close or over a grand within their grand opening that's been on their sign since they opened, but they have one shelf of warm liquor mmmmm , overpriced vapes that aren't even good brands and i honestly Think they're just trying to sell the rest of the inventory before they turn key and go out of business which explains the two months that they haven't had air conditioning and only one worker present whenever you get there. soda machines blocking all of the alcohol that they don't but advertise them on the window l but those aren't cold you see the boxer that's what they're packing up before they close up shop and do you see how they cover all of their openings so you can't tell what's inside so you walk in and the only cold cases that are cold are the soda machines, all their liquor and beer is warm and the cold cases and the only affordable Vape is a fuse for $20 that's pathetic just sharing the knowledge and hope they Get air conditioning soon before the owner collapses like his business just did. The manager is a nice ginger man well until today until he acted like he could t help me at all even thought he was so friendly when i was spending that money with him every week.

The staff refused to accept any responsibility for selling a faulty product and instead became defensive and rude. When I contacted the owner directly to discuss the issue, his response was even worse--he was not only dismissive but also outright rude and ignorant, showing no interest in resolving the situation. It's alarming that a business would treat customers so poorly, especially when they're the ones at fault. The lack of care or concern for customer satisfaction is beyond unacceptable. The experience left me feeling disrespected, and it was clear to me that this business has no genuine interest in maintaining good relationships with its customers. I am also deeply concerned by the way they seem to treat certain customers differently. It's troubling to feel that the business does not care for all people, and I cannot overlook the blatant disregard for fairness and respect. What made this even worse is that, despite having a legitimate issue, EZ Liquor refused to take any action to rectify the situation. Instead of offering a solution or even a simple apology, I was met with more defensiveness and rude comments. Their customer service is non-existent, and it's clear they are more interested in taking people's money than providing quality products or services. Given my terrible experience, I also checked their BBB rating, which seems to reflect a pattern of unsatisfactory service and unresolved complaints. It's evident that they don't prioritize accountability or addressing issues with their customers. I'm extremely disappointed by how this situation was handled and will not be returning to this store. I strongly recommend that anyone considering EZ Liquor be aware of the potential risks--poor quality products, horrible customer service, and an overall lack of professionalism. This is not a business that values its customers, and I urge others to take their business elsewhere. My experience was a clear reflection of how little they care about providing a positive and respectful customer experience.

My wife and I frequent both locations weekly. The store is within walking distance of our home so it is a quick easy spot to grab a snack, drink or cigar for that fun night out on the town. I would say that Kevin's prices are fair market value when compared to other convenience stores in the area. There have been occasions where I have been able to get a bottle of Jim Beam or Makers Mark at a better price than ABC or Walgreens. On a side note, if you love Bud Light Platinum this may be the only place you can find it in a 12 pack or more. I am not sure why 12 packs of Platinum are so rare but if you need it Kevin's almost always has it. The parking lot can be quite active so be prepared to navigate around other people who cannot park, drive in general or just don't know how-to walk-in public. This is part of the reason we like to walk here but I guess that's how it is when your business is located at the intersection of French Ave. and 20th street in Sanford. The staff here are always helpful and friendly. The guy who is usually working in the liquor store is awesome at helping you find what you need at the best price. I feel is a great way to keep customers coming back. If you are visiting Sanford for a fun day/night out, stop in to Kevin's before heading downtown.
