Our new LOGGERHEAD VODKA! Delicious, and so smooth.

Kisma, & accident, or maybe the monsoon rain storm that we encountered, & were not prepared for, but we were meant to go there and meet the weekend host! The place is clean and beautiful, with a variety of souvenirs you can take home or gift! We were there by accident, and so happy we discovered this place and a new friend! The distillery samples were fantastic, and we had to take home, the best vodka we ever tasted. % It was smooth beyond words...as well as other delights that were offered as samples.

SERVICE: 5 FOOD QUALITY: N/A DRINK QUALITY: 5 ORDER TIME: N/A AESTHETICS: 4 NOISE LEVEL: 5 MENU SELECTION: 5 OVERALL EXPERIENCE: 4.8 While walking around Sandford, one afternoon, we found this cool little distillery. When you first walk in it's very small and looks like it may just be a merchandise shop, but in the corner is a small bar for tastings. Naturally we had to try it. The bartender was so friendly and helpful so we decided to try everything. They have a wide selection of whiskey/bourbon, vodka, rums, moonshine, and gin so if you're going in to taste everything you will get a good buzz before you leave. We fell in love with the sweet tea vodka. It is absolutely spectacular. We liked it so much that the bartender made us a cocktail using it. We bought a bottle for pool sipping for the summer. Can't wait to go sit out at the pool now! Overall, this place was wonderful, with high quality products worth checking out. I can guarantee that you'll want to buy at least one bottle they are that good. They also have a nice selection of cocktail recipes on their website that compliment their liquors as well.

We heard in social media about the Loggerhead Cocktail Crawl that is going on for the month of November (some venues will offer a cocktail using Loggerhead's spirits) and decided to give it a try. We did not know what to expect and once we walked in, were were greeted by a nice lady that asked us if we wanted to do a tasting. That was a pleasant surprise and we did try it and it was fun! The gentleman that did the tasting was knowledgeable and he told us that the distillery is locally owned and that they do tours, pretty cool to know. We tasted bourbon, vodka, gin, moonshine and rum. My BIL really liked the Apple Pie Moonshine and the Sweet Tea Vodka so he bought some! Thanks for the nice experience!

This was our first visit to a distillery in Sanford, FL and during this trip. We walked in and told the the lady behind the bar that we wanted to sample. We were able to sample everything which I believe at no cost. Everything I tried was good to not bad. My favorite was the single malt. I purchased a bottle to go. It was $40 for 375 ml but a good tasty bottle. We were able to order a mix drink, which I do not remember what I got but it was good. They have limited seating arrangements inside. They do have some seating outside I believe, if not I'd recommend doing so. As for using the restroom it's in the distillery. It gave me a small moment to capture what type of still that they are using and capture the different barrels that they are aging spirits currently. I'm a home winemaker, I was impressed that the older bottle filler is what I have and use for my wine bottling. Overall good experience here.

Loggerhead Distillery offers cocktails, or tastings. My favorites have been the jalapeño lime vodka (great for bloody Mary's, I just wish they had it more often!) and the key lime gin (perfect for gin and tonics!). The staff are always so helpful and friendly, and the location is in the heart of downtown.

Wonderful old fashioned & great service. The owner was there and offered knowledge on the many different spirits. They also offer samples to taste any of the many different liquors. Great spot for a quality cocktail.

I visited Loggerhead Distillery in Sanford, FL on Saturday. You can sample the alcohol here in the retail store. They were sold out of the apple pie moonshine I wanted. But they had regular moonshine, vodka and sweet tea vodka available. I'll have to return when they have the apple pie moonshine again. I did buy a bottle of vodka. I've been wanting to check out some local distilleries. My favorite local gin is from St. Augustine Distillery since it has an orange flavor. Next on my list to try are Winter Park Distillery in Winter Park, FL and Sugar Works Distillery in New Smyrna Beach, FL.

I've been trying to stop into this distillery for years, but my timing was always off. Either they were closed that day i was there or not opening before I left. But today, the starts aligned. If you know, John and I love going to small craft/ small batch distilleries & we have the bar to back that up. Years of learning what we love and what we (I really) don't. I was all interested in the bourbon! And they delivered! Every batch is a one and done, with every new batch trying to be better and more refined than the last. Reminds me of myself, I'm always moving forward & trying to do better! Loved the bourbon. The Winter Park Arts Festival blend was phenomenal! Then... I tried the Gincident and that was an easy yes, let's take that bottle home. Meanwhile, Chase was bragging about their Best Espresso Martini.... hmmm, prove it. Made with bourbon, omg yes please. Proprietary blend of coffee, vodka made in house and yes, it was one of my to three I've ever had! And now I want to start trying various bourbons to make one at home! And I heard they do a Halloween Yelp Event!!! Whhhaaaatttt! Please please, I must go this coming fall! I LOVE HALLOWEEN!!!

To be honest, we thought we were coming to a brewery and quickly realized it was a distillery. We walked in and noticed a bunch of outdoor seating. It was the perfect night so we looked forward to sitting outside. The atmosphere was busy, but laid back. We entered into the dimly lit establishment at Harry Potter playing on the TV (win!). It was a speakeasy-esque vibe and I loved it. We ordered an old-fashioned and espresso martini which were quickly brought to our table. They indicated that the espresso martini was the best one in town, so naturally I had to try it. I would definitely say it takes top five. We sat outside and had a great evening at this place. We will definitely be back and look forward to it.

I skipped the white rum and went right into the spiced and dark rums- good gracious. The flavors! The dark rum actually tasted more like a good bourbon! Something I have found with some well made dark rums. Same notes, same mouth feel. The bourbon was also delicious and they make a single malt whiskey (Scotch Whiskey without it being called that) and it was seriously hard to pick a favorite! We snagged a bottle of the spiced rum and I convinced John to go with his gut and grab the single malt. He was leaning bourbon, because I lean bourbon- but the single malt would be something a little different on our bar. I would 100% buy these spirits again and I believe Paul said they are carried in ABC liquor stores- so maybe I won't have to drive to Ocala to get it! Yay. Happy stop on the trail!

He had never seen the Florida Distillery trail passports and I think he was immediately impressed and realized we would know what we liked. The sip of the still not only was warm from the still, but had this warm mouth feel that stayed with you- like your mouth got the best hug! That's my best shot at describing it, because I'll probably never get to do that again. It was so good I declined the straight moonshine that was bottled- the distiller said it would be harsher compared to the sip we tried. Nope, let me sit in this warm hug longer. lol. Blueberry moonshine was up next and is their top seller- for good reason, the blueberry fields are right out the back door and you can go pick em yourself! Farm fresh shine right here! We bought the blueberry- it was that good. I also loved the cranberry moonshine and imagined it in my homemade hot apple cider for the holidays. The rum also wowed us- so much so, we bought that bottle too. A hint of sweet- they use white and dark sugars and it's a wonderful blend. The lineup also included a brandy, watermelon moonshine, apple moonshine, peach moonshine and southern pecan moonshine. I skipped the apple smack and souther pecan- because that's not my taste, but John enjoyed all of them! They also have quite the little store there and on Saturdays they have live music and food trucks! I'm sure, a great party! **INITIAL REVIEW**…read more 21st Amendement Distillery is one of two distilleries operating in Vero Beach, and the "younger" of the two, too. Located within the heart of Historic Downtown Vero Beach, it is a fine place to visit if you want to enjoy a cocktail on the rocks. My good friend Patrick and I hit this place up, and I will say, it is defintely a distillery I would love to come back to. Maybe enjoy a nice cigar with my scotch bourbon. Though an address is provided, 21st Amendment Distillery (which I will shorthand to 21st for the remainder of this review) is located on a "minor road" that seems to run one end at the Indian River Chamber of Commerce all the way to American Icon Brewery. The parking situation includes street parking along 13th Avenue. Take note only the west side of the street has angled pull-in parking, while the east side of the street are parallel parking spots. There are some dedicated parking lots and even a parking garage but they are a couple of blocks away. Decor-wise, the outdoor seating arangement fits with the modern style Downtown Vero Beach is aiming for, but inside is an amazing mix of today's modern aesthetic without being overly modern and throwback to the 1920s and 1930s. Why? Because between 1920 to 1933, the United States had prohibition. It wasn't until 1933 the 21st Amendment repelled prohibition thus legalizing alcohol. And now you know why 21st is known as it is. Back to decor, 21st uses a lot of mahogany and wood (or at least it looks like it) furniture along with leather seating. There is a small outcrop of a stage for performers to entertain guests who come in and enjoy a glass of spirits. The bar looks like something out of a old Chicago mystery flick, and there is an area of lounge chairs reminiscent of a smoking room. Remember I said I would smoke a cigar here with my drink? Apparently, 21st has a fine selection of cigars. I did not see any of the patrons smoking any there, but I am sure if they provide it, it would be an option. As for my drink, I was suggested by our beautiful waitress, Brittany, to get the Night Shift as an hommage to the fact I've been working night shift for way too long and need to go back on days. It is an agave spirit with bourbon cream and vanilla. Needless to say, it was delicious... and STRONG! Got Patrick a latte in which they decored the foam in the classic leaf often seen as coffee art. We also split their version of a charcuterie board. Now pricewise, the food and spirits were a little high, but I consider that more of a testament on the standing 21st has over the other alcoholic places within the area or even the city. Side notes: the men's restroom was clean and stocked, but it is a single-server. Take that into account if 21st happens to be full to the gills with patrons. Also, 21st is one of the businesses featured in the Treasure Coast Wine, Ale, and Spirits Trail. If you want to partake on an adventure seeking out the Treasure Coast's best breweries, distilleries, and other alcohol-related locations, check this trail out. Ultimately, 21st was an excellent place to enjoy a mixed drink with or without a cigar, by yourself or with friends, while listening to local acts perfect their craft. And to be fair, this is a local distillery and not an extension or branch, ergo, 21st gets my highest rating for an initial review, four out of five stars. If 21st remains consistent with their service, their drinks, their food, and the atmosphere they provide, I will then grant them their fifth star for consistency.
