What I appreciated most was how she clearly summarized how the business works so that I would have something to base my search on- what's included what's not, what they do, how they do what they do, what to expect from start to end- that required time and professionalism. However, the Estate Sales Ontario owner had promised us that she would dispose of any unsold items in my brother's apartment. (This promise was also on her website at the time.) This did not happen. We were left with one week to dispose of various large items ourselves in a difficult time of Covid. The owner promised a prompt reckoning and payment from the auction. This also did not happen. It took several months and repeated reminders for any payment to arrive. The owner told us she had "overlooked" our payment because she was so busy. I live in another province. It took three months for items I bid on to arrive. Expect politeness and promises when you first talk to this owner but little follow-through. Very disappointing service.

For years, I thought I could organize my stuff by myself. I saw Rosalind's ad in a local paper and, intrigued by the free in-home consultation, called and set up an appointment. I was immediately put at ease by her friendly, pleasant demeanor, and we went over the problem areas I wanted to tackle. We set up a plan and got to work. Rosalind has a great deal of patience and persistence in tackling even the most disorganized spaces. She helped me sort and discard/recycle the items i didn't need, taking them away with her at the end of the day. Everything got sorted, labelled, and organized so that I had easy access to craft stuff in my studio, and all the home maintenance stuff stashed in my laundry room and basement storage areas. We also decluttered my living-dining room and she came up with some excellent ideas about rearranging the space. She arranged for items to be consigned or sold on local buy-sell sites, taking the pictures and organizing transportation as needed. Out of this came a chance to see my space anew, and i was able to contract a renovation to better enjoy my living space. Feeling the weight of too much stuff lift from my shoulders also encouraged me to start a (body) weight loss program and I'm 3/4 of the way to my goal weight.
