Do you need decals for whatever reason? They have a big free bin near the front. Do you need cement? What types? There are so many! And, if you don't know, the guys who work there do, and they will make sure you walk away with what you need. If you've been thinking about giving models a go, or are just looking for a place that has shelves lined with them, this is where you want to go. It's hard to believe that a brick and mortar like this place still exists, but it's wonderful that it does!

Hobby lobby is a love hate relationship for me. I bought slime and wanted to return it. It was two…read moredays since I had gotten it. I went into the store w the receipt and slime and they said they couldn't find it in their system on their iPad. A manager-looking woman came over and said she would go back to the aisle and look. When she came back she said I couldn't return it because it wasn't a product in the store. At this point my blood was a simmer. I say "here's the receipt, here's the slime. It clearly looks like your product. Whether or not you have it come up isn't my problem" The manager looking lady doesn't care and reiterates that if they can't find it, I cannot return it. I decide to go back myself. Imagine the surprise when I go back and find it! This wasn't the first time I had a hassle w returns. They have an old system and they don't take electronic payments. it's just kind of wonky how they do everything at that store. Hence the love-hate relationship! I go shopping at the store sporadically, only because they do have nice things.

I was after a somewhat obscure NiCad battery for an old RC car that I was giving to my nephew. Lots of staff available and I was served right away. At first we determined that I might need a newer battery and charger (which was more expensive that I had planned) but one of the guys said 'let me try to find a NiCad for you' and he did. It ended up costing me much less than the first option but the goodwill to me as a customer was priceless. They solved my problem and saved me money. I will be back and I will recommend it to friends. Thanks Guys!

His shop is filled with lots of spare parts for the popular r/c brands (traxxas, hpi) along with a few dozen of rtr's and kits. He may not have the vast selection some of the other hobby shops in Mississauga have, as his shop isn't the largest, but he will order anything in for you and actually call you to let you know when it has arrived. His prices are in line with everyone else too. If you're in the area and run r/c cars or trucks, Galaxy should be your LHS.

Scam alert with this business…read more Misleading stock levels get you to "pre-order" so they can trap your money and go for the 15% restocking fee scam. BBCT does not say "in stock" on its web page for a reason. A pre-order is a get in line thing, they discount pre-orders to suck you in, so I did not expect it right away. A few weeks is reasonable. Communication is child like texting with rude staff who make up nonsense. After no follow up communication for 12 days (except my Sept 1 order confirmation stating "preparing for shipping") I "texted' a update request Sept 12th. I ordered Sept 1 2026, update text from BBCT stated Oct 17 to Nov 15 availability. If they showed a 2.5 month wait I would have never ordered a seasonal item. The item WAS IN STOCK at the distributor and 3 other Ontario hobby shops. I was told Horizon Hobby Canada was the delay. There is no Horizon Hobby Canada, its a distributor in BC called HPD. Misrepresenting the truth is not Cool. Avoid these people for online orders. BBB rating is 2/5 stars. Thats too generous.
