Unfortunately, the experience went downhill the moment I walked in. One employee immediately gave me a harsh look and stared at me from across the room. I didn't even realize he worked there at first, so I tried to move out of his line of sight. Another employee eventually approached me, and I explained that it was my first visit and I wanted to look around before asking questions. He was friendly and helpful -- I honestly wish he had been the one assisting me the whole time. Instead, the first employee eventually came over and asked if I needed anything, but his tone and body language made me feel unwelcome, as if he wanted me to leave rather than browse. It took the excitement out of what should have been a fun first visit. Bottom line: the store itself was great, but the attitude from that particular employee made the experience uncomfortable and disappointing.

You'll have to stop in ahead of time to learn the release schedule and get a feel for when to come in early and when they'll open sooner than they say for a release so that you don't miss out but it's got everything you need and if you're a Pokémon tcg collector then it's a great stop and much more consistent than other card shops in the area. Just stop in the store tho, don't be one of those "call ahead asking GameStop to hold an etb for you" type of people, give a local business your business and they'll have even more product in the future. You gotta be the change you want in this world, and heart of the game is a local business worth supporting and investing in.

I was in Olean for work and decided to check to see if there was any cool game stores nearby. Going in it's unassuming and would likely be cramped if there was more than just me perusing. However they have mini packs that I had never seen before of Magic the gathering, considering I just got into the hobby these were long before my time.. but that's what I was looking for! I'm trying to create a draft night for my friends with different packs of all kinds. Now I can do just that! They had a nice selection of card sleeves and some deck boxes. They had a selection of board games, with some really nice staples such as Everdell, Betrayal, and more. They seem to have an upstairs where they can have game nights as well which is awesome. I would highly recommend, the person behind the desk was very polite and helpful.

ALSO Recently, my fiancé and I drove across town in a blizzard (took about 30 minutes or so, a good amount of the gas in our vehicle, and a lot of anxiety from the slick road conditions and snow showers) to trade-in some MTG cards for CASH because their website states something along the lines of, "We're ALWAYS purchasing trading cards for CASH or STORE CREDIT!"
