I brought my car in to Dean Sellers Ford to get a recall processed. The dealership did a nice job and even "rinsed" my car. I can recommend Dean Sellers.
Unfortunately, they use a windshield repair service called Liquid Glass and that service inspects the cars to drum up windshield chip repairs. That service called me on my mobile phone after I had left the car at the dealership as I planned to return later to pick up the car. They told me that they found two small chips in my windshield and that they could repair them if I had that covered by my insurance. They called my insurance company and then my insurance company called me back to verify that this was a real claim. I had not noticed any chips myself, but took their word for it. After I picked up my car, I did notice a visible smudge of sticky stuff right in the middle of my field of view. That was not there when I dropped off the car. It now blocked my view. When I got home, I spent ten minutes scrubbing that off. I could not see where any chips had been filled. So either Liquid Glass is that good, or there were no chips repaired. I looked up Liquid Glass Windshield, LLC on Yelp to leave them a bad review, but they don't seem to exist. Their paperwork indicated that their headquarters are in Brighton, MI
So Dean Sellers did a great job. But I would heartily suggest to Yelpers that if you go to this or other dealerships and are told by a representative of Liquid Glass that you need windshield repair, before saying yes to a "free repair", That you: 1) See the damage and verify the necessity to repair it, and 2) just consider a reputable glass repair place to get the work done. read more
