I was literally ignored by the WC Insurance Company and by my employer, actually it was worse than that. So I decided that it is time to reach out and I emailed Segar & Sciortino. My call was returned by Cristian Cruzado and he was patient and listened to me. While my case is still being sorted out at this time, and it might be a while until we can put it behind me, without Cristian's work, advice and guidance, I would still be lost and most definitely would have given up which is precisely what my employer, their lawyers and the WC Insurance had in mind from the beginning. I absolutely recommend Segar & Sciortino and especially Cristian Cruzado!!!

Many websites indicated this was a sign they were going to screw me over. Well, they did and I contacted Segar & Sciortino, whom I found on Google Maps as the highest rating. Well, ratings don't mean a thing. The person I spoke with indicated that the people who said I should retain a lawyer don't have their law degree and that I shouldn't believe everything I read on the internet. I was basically told that if the carrier stops paying me, then call them back. Well, I did get suspended and I did NOT call this place back.

Many websites indicated this was a sign they were going to screw me over. Well, they did and I contacted Segar & Sciortino, whom I found on Google Maps as the highest rating. When they refused to help, I contacted Connors & Ferris. After a phone intake via the receptionist, I was told someone named Justin would contact me. Well, Justin called at pretty late hours and I missed his call. He left a message, but only left a 7-digit phone number. I had no idea what the area code was since there are multiple possibilities and I am not from the area. I called reception back and told them what happened, but Justin never called back. A few days later the comp carrier suspended me and I needed a lawyer. What a waste.

Chuck is amazing and extraordinarily responsive, often within hours. Me and my wife have LLCs and Chuck handled all of the set-up needs as well as handling our LLCs when we moved them from California to New Hampshire seamlessly, even though I assume he had to come up to speed on the state's tax regulations. He provides both me and my wife with coupons for the state to ensure we never get behind and he does all that at a very reasonable price.

But once work was delegated to others, it declined fast--poor follow-through, repeated delays, and fees added without clear explanation. Despite using the firm for business purchases, I often felt unprotected. Communication became a serious issue. I was even referred to a litigating attorney who lacked basic communication skills and didn't act in my best interest. When I raised concerns, my message was simply forwarded to that attorney with no effort to resolve the issue. It felt like they were protecting themselves--not representing me. The final straw was finding out I'd been dropped as a client without any notice. They were holding an escrow check and only returned it with my files after multiple emails and calls. No explanation--just silence until I pressed for answers. Yes, I stood up for myself and expected accountability. That may not have been convenient for them. But at these rates, professionalism should be non-negotiable. I'm relieved to move on and find a firm that values transparency and client care.

I have worked with other firms in the past but I am overwhelmingly impressed with Dawson law firm. I highly recommend them and hope that my review sheds some light on the extra steps that they take to show that they truly care about their clients.

I was most impressed that the founder, Atty John Bansbach called me back himself. After calling a dozen or so law firms and requesting to speak to the lawyer that would be handling my cases, and only getting legal aides to "pass on" the information, has been disappointing. Not criticizing their knowledge but I would prefer to not have an "in-between" person. My expectation was to be able to build a rapport with the lawyer handling my case , make sure we are on the same page and ascertain if our point of views are aligned . Factors critical to successfully represent me and my meeting my needs. This law firm met that expectation. Atty. Bansbach was very through in making sure he had all the information he needed to help me. I will update this review once his deliverable are received.

I found John to be quite personable, and our first conversation already gave me the impression that he was genuine, not just another lawyer trying to make a buck off me. I explained my situation and he gave me sound advice to ensure I would be protected and get matters done with reasonable cost. While I did get the impression his office was busy, it never took too long before they either called me back or gave me updates by email. If it was important or I had a direct question John would call me back personally, otherwise Brent at his front office handled the day to day legwork. I hit a snag and had to delay the work and John did not skip a beat to pick up the work and same quote months later. Once I gave him even more details, he gave me more advice to save even more money, and the transaction completed smoothly in the time that he estimated. Because of the money saved he sent me back the remainder. While we both were too busy to actually meet in person, I would not hesitate to use his services again. I find John to be sincere in his efforts to help me, and did not nickel and dime me for everything. Extremely professional.
