They don't do a bad job necessarily and they don't have "uneducated" staff per se they all have a…read moregood idea of what needs to be done. The big issue is the wait times and the extremely high price. No one is gonna argue inflation isn't taking a bite out of everyone's pocket but they have a tiny office that can't cost that much to rent out and an already very small staff. Long wait times and scheduling times and competitors that do the job for 33% less make this place just not worth it. Go find somewhere else or use H&R block you'll get the same prices.

I just visited this IRS office after my tax return was flagged for security reasons. Unfortunately,…read moreI didn't have the required information in front of me so I had to schedule an in-person meeting. Super annoying. However I must say that the In-person visit was pretty straightforward. I opted for the first appointment time at 830am. Doors open at 8:30am, so no need to arrive that much earlier. Security also takes 2 minutes, so no need to allot too much time for that beforehand. Two forms of ID (they didn't ask for my actual social security card) and my said tax return. Pretty easy and I was out the door within 30 minutes. So overall, annoying that I had to go in person, but the actual appointment was pretty easy and efficient.
